crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
It hasn't started out particularly well, anyway -- another deluge of calls today looking for stuff were were SUPPOSED to have already sent out, causing us to scramble to keep up, along with trying to do other stuff. . . It just -- it gets stressful, you know? When it feels like the whole house of cards is collapsing on you and you have no freaking clue why, or what's being done to fix things. . . *sigh* We'll see if tomorrow is more of the same. I expect so. Maybe we'll get lucky and the snow Wednesday night will stay snow and we'll get a surprise day off. Doubt it, though.

Anyway, things I have managed tonight:

-->Got gas for the car -- though that was also a bit of a pain, in that I first pulled up to the pump too close, then couldn't get close ENOUGH when trying to circle back around. I eventually went to another pump and got a decent distance away. . .and then the rewards points I was trying to use wouldn't go through. Just put in my 15 dollars without them, which brings the car up to just over three-quarters full, so. . . And Mom gave me one of the zappy keycard things I can use to use the points in future, so that was good.

-->Kept up with doing workouts, yay me

-->Did another page of edits on "Secundus 2" -- making good progress through Chapter 4. Have set up that Doc's train is stored in the McFlys' barn, and that Victor's Grasshopper Teapot will be in the same space to keep it hidden from the mayor. Now I just have to work my way toward Victor's nightmare and the meat of the chapter. . .

-->Watched a bunch of Sims stuff, as it's the 20th anniversary! Yup, the original The Sims released today back in 2000! Ah, memories. . .

A) James Turner did a video where he looked back at some of his old videos/LPs for each game, highlighting some of his favorite moments (like his Sim dying three parts into a The Sims LP, or two paparazzi burning to death outside his hotel in Sims 3. . .yeah, it was that kind of video XD) and talking about how the Sims series basically led him to the place he is today, a successful YouTuber playing the game he loves. :)

B) Plumbella doing a video on the news that any future Sims games might have a multiplayer/online element, and being basically "Nah fam I play this game to get AWAY from other people" (though she did allow that competitions, that you compete in individually and see how you did ranked up against others, might be fun). Trust me, girl, I hear you -- if Sims 5 is all-online and has mandatory multiplayer, I'm out.

C) Plumbella doing an "Expert Mode" video on The Sims -- a family of two adults and five children, who must thrive, learn to like each other, and the "parents" must have a baby -- all done while in three times speed! As you might expect, this turned out poorly. The first time, Plumbella managed to get the parents jobs and even made them friends -- and then the game crashed. The second time. . .well, the second time ended up with most of the family dead from a cooking fire (only the wife and one son lived); the father and one son turned into zombies; and the zombie son being sent to military school for poor grades. Basically, don't try this at home, kids. XD

D) Plumbella doing her own "hey it's the anniversary of The Sims" video by booting it up and playing how she used to when she was five and just doing whatever she wanted. Cue her making a child Jessica (her real name), building her a hilariously awful house with the help of rosebud, turning her into a little wizard, and then demolishing it all to buy the big fancy house at the top of the neighborhood. . .and drowning Jessica in the pool. XD Well, you can't say she didn't have fun with it all! XD

-->Got my own Sims update done in my VictorLuvsAlice queue, so I'm ready to go for tomorrow, yay~

-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted as well (all asks, and the first three I got done this morning, whew)

And now it's time to take care of inbox comments and go to bed, as I am Very Tired. We'll see what happens tomorrow with everything. Night all!
