The Most Tired Morning Ever
Apr. 7th, 2020 11:28 pmYeah, first full day of my period, and I felt pretty much wiped until after lunch -- not a good day for concentrating, is what I'm saying. Luckily I didn't have much at all to do on the work end again (yay for that), and reading through Fallout 4's TV Tropes pages proved to be amusing, so. . . ;P And once I got some more food in me post-lunch I was able to get my brain back in gear and:
-->Finish up my Newcrest Adventures update for tomorrow -- no issues with getting the second two posts of the day queued, thankfully! Also threw a few other posts in the drafts, so that was good.
-->Catch up on my tumblr dash and a few other things.
-->Play some Fallout 4 -- hit Revere Beach Station to clear out some raiders! Turns out there were a lot more than expected -- apart from the raiders in the actual location (which took me longer than expected to find because I couldn't figure out where the door in was! At least I stumbled across a handy garage with adhesive loot), there was a whole other cabal of them outside! With TWO LEGENDARIES among their number. O.O Fortunately I have a nice plasma pistol, so taking them out wasn't TOO difficult, but yikes. And then I ended up going up against a Legendary RADROACH while in the actual station, which dropped a machine gun. XD This game is ridiculous and I am rediscovering my fondness for it. (While constantly trying to mentally cross it over with Bloodlines!Alice. . .apparently the apocalypse is not enough for me to give up vampire!Alice goodness.) Anyway, cleared out both sets of raiders with relative ease, made some fresh healing items, am preparing to take a nap before going back to the Finch Farm to get a little extra XP from the whole thing. w000~
-->Write some on Chapter 6 of "Secundus 2" -- added in some new material of Victor getting a few more of Clara's things that he could reach from the very edge of the ravine, because I could. Doc and Clara are also still being super soppy and it's great. XD Definitely not making this Sunday, but I have high hopes for the next one!
-->Watch some Call Me Kevin -- didn't get to all the ones in my Watch Later (mostly because YouTube and I were still fighting a little over quality issues -- I ended up deciding 720p was acceptable for a couple of the later videos), but still knocked out a decent amount:
A) Good Job, a game all about -- well, it's SUPPOSED to be navigating a tricky office environment to do tasks with minimal property damage. What it's ACTUALLY about is slingshotting projectors through walls and trying to trap people in crushers. XD At least, that's what it's about with Kevin at the helm! Delightful stuff.
B) Hitman 2, with Kevin going through the final "Patient Zero" mission because being a very killy version of Agent 47 going after an evil virus makes him feel better. XD It was almost as chaotic as Mike's infamous run through the level -- and Kevin too complained about not being able to be a clown! XD He did hit a lot of people with a fish, though. And a fire axe. And a lot of other things. Dunno if his final kill count was as bad as Mike's, but -- I imagine it was up there. XD
C) Mario Kart 8, featuring Kevin's Mii Turg competing against a bunch of his friends! Turg was -- not very good at Mario Kart. XD He did come second on his own a couple of times, but the only time he made 1st is when his friends decided to LET him win. It was pretty hilarious, and all good fun!
D) A variety of el cheapo games Kevin bought in a bundle off e-Bay for 5 quid. Most were crap, a few didn't even OPEN, a couple were okay (there was one at the very beginning, a "how many times can you bounce the ball off this one platform" game, that I think I personally would enjoy), and one game that actually seemed kind of fun. So -- uh -- worth? XD Ah well, Kevin said it was him doing his part to help with the quarantine, sooo. . . :p
E) Fallout 4 -- this was actually an old one not in my Watch Later, but, well, I've been playing the game, and I seemed to recall him doing some vids on it in the past. . .and yes, he has done some hilarious ones where he installs terrible mods to destroy it. XD Like terrifyingly flexible faces, a mod that changes the Survivor's dialogue (and even panting!) to random lines, and a custom weapon that is baby Shaun on a baseball bat. XD Best part is, this ridiculousness let me see some quest stuff I haven't gotten to yet! I am so looking forward to finding the USS Constitution and its new crew. . .
-->Got the Valice Multiverse queue done -- small, fortunately, so I didn't feel too strained in the brainpower. ;p
And now it's time to wrap things up and head to bed. Tomorrow is intended to be a Sims day -- thinking I might wrap things up with the McFlys, then I can spend another couple of days putting in loads of CC and updating my Wonderland Park. :p There MAY be a patch on the way, though, so I'm thinking I'll hold off on any mods I might want to get for the time being. Want to minimize the amount of updating I'll have to do afterward. . . Anyway, night all!
