crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
Though I'm doing my best to hold on for the Friday Night Writing Thing. . .suspect I'm either going to sleep in tomorrow, or wake up early, get up for a quick bathroom break, then go right back to bed and sleep in then because I can. XD Ah, lovely noncleaning Saturdays. . .

Today was pretty good too:

-->Work was fairly quiet and pretty productive -- I got the latest batches of checks on, adjusted a few things for people, and just kept going until I could go at 1! Got out a bit later than I wanted due to scrubbing down my office with cleaner (because you know), but it was only like a twelve-minute ride home, and I got to have chicken tenders for lunch while watching the newest QI so that was good. :D

-->Proceeded to play Fallout 4 for about two hours after lunch. The idea was to add more mods and do more testing -- but the mod I added, "Mobile Mechanic," I couldn't PROPERLY test on the save I chose (one of the later ones), because I didn't have one of the necessary perks (Scrapper). Which led me to think, "Well, if I just level up, I can get the perk and THEN try it out. . ."

Cue me going to University Point and wandering around there looking at everything and killing Synths from the Institute and unlocking doors and all that fun stuff because sometimes it's fun just to wander and crack terminals and lockpick things in this game. XD I TRIED to get myself back on track by turning my sights on Vault 88 (since I also have a mod that fixes some issues with that to install), but ended up getting first murdered by a bunch of mirelurks, then having it out with another group of Rust Devils (I really, really hate these guys). I'm currently sitting in their little camp, with a portable workbench I can't use because I couldn't make any of the kits that go with it. *sigh* Well, I can't play Sims 4 this weekend because I'm waiting to make sure all the mods and such I use/want to use are updated for the latest patch and pack (plus I want to make sure the patch hasn't totally ruined games -- they already had to release a hotfix so the game didn't crash in saves made before the patch *sigh*), so I have plenty of time to do more Fallout 4 stuff if and when I want. Maybe revert to an earlier save and get the Scrapper perk early for "Mobile Mechanic." XD

-->I did do Sims 4 on the YouTube side, though, with a little Plumbella marathon:

A) Plumbella breaks her game with mods! Specifically, that "Expanded Sliders" mod that causes some downright funky faces – overstretched, oversquashed, eyes about three feet from the rest of the face – and MC Command center to speed up time, need decay, and just generally everything. XD She spent a bunch of time making a family of all her Simming friends, and they were all dead in like three minutes from need decay/old age. XD She actually killed most of the whole game, with a few stragglers hanging on in Willow Creek, Del Sol Valley, and Forgotten Hollow (actually, the vampires probably came off the best in this thing). Absolutely ridiculous and I love it.

B) Plumbella attempts to complete her previously-started 100 Baby Challenge in a two-hour stream. It is – difficult, let's say. XD Not in the least because she started out with a fair number of children already and kept having to look for men who weren't already related to her. XD She managed a decent number of children, thanks to some lucky triplets with a few of her woohooers, but a combination of her original Sim aging up and time running out before Plumbella could make much progress with her daughter as the successor meant that she only got up to about halfway. Still, that's not bad for two hours! Better than I could do if I attempted a speedrun of that challenge. Which I don't intend to do.

C) Plumbella does another building challenge – a house but each room (plus outside) is in a different style. Because you can apparently pick "styles" as a filter option in build/buy! There were 16 on display, and Jesse got like the worst one for each room. Garden for the entrance and upstairs hallway (no stairs? Build one out of benches! No wallpaper? Cover the walls in StrangerVille vines!); Double Galley for the kitchen (use split level foundations to fake counters! Chimneys can double as fridges AND stoves!); Queen Anne for the exterior (let's put a boat on the roof just because!) – really, the only place she lucked out was the living room (Contemporary) and the bathroom (Basics). But it made for a very INTERESTING build, I'll tell you that much! XD

D) Plumbella tries to go super industrial in early access Eco Lifestyle – and doesn't really succeed. Her SimSelf and Billy (her imaginary husband) did their best, turning their lot into a nothing but giant rows of fireplaces and filling a community lot with generators (which, uh, don't work because no fuel), and killing anyone who got in their way, but in the end, all they could do was get the neighborhood down from Green to Neutral. Plumbella finally set her Sim on fire to end the episode, because, well, what else can one do? :P

-->Worked some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice managed to get through the fiery hallways, and has FINALLY claimed Dorothy's pendant (with the help of Dorothy making her burnt-out suite traversable again for a moment). Dorothy's saying her goodbyes, and Alice is soon to leave the Ocean House, meaning I'm actually close to wrapping up this particular chapter, woohoo! :D I'm also nearly at the 100 page mark, which is -- kind of terrifying, considering I'm on Day Three. Reasons why, if I ever do anything with my Fallout 4 Victor and his version of Malkavian!Alice, it's gonna be short scenelets. I can't novelize two RPGs at once. Especially not one that's open-freaking-world and where I have a hard time catching up with the plot.

-->And I've just finished up my queue for the Valice Multiverse, along with catching up on tumblr tags. *nods* Go me. Time to answer what's left in the inbox and head over to The Friday Night Writing Thing! . . .after maybe getting some water, I be thirsty. *nods* Night all!
