crossover_chick: gif of Doc gasping (BTTF: EEK)
Comes of doing a lot of VTMB-based chatting with my friend Squid (mostly how once you play a character with Obfuscate you really never want to play a character without Obfuscate again) -- let's get the to-do list up and head to bed:

Work – Reasonably busy, but not in a too-bad way – one of my supervisors was out, so a lot of what I was doing was just solving little problems for them by phone and doing more obits and duplicates. Nothing too major, but stuff that made the day go by for the most part. *shrug* Can’t complain, I guess!

Beanbags – Not today – while the weather was all right, my mother was actually visiting a friend and didn’t get back until after my shower, so. . .who knows about tomorrow, but I imagine we’ll get a chance to play over the weekend!

To-Do List

1. Get in a workout: Check – another thirty on the bike, with me rewatching an old OXBox video to help get me in the mood for Oxventures – “7 Ways D&D Players Destroy Their DM’s Plans,” hosted by their own DM, Johnny Chiodini. It’s kind of a “best of those weird unplanned moments in the Oxventures that Johnny didn’t know how to handle” list, and I figured it would be a good “teaser” for the adventures to come. Plus I just thought it was funny at the time, and I still think it’s funny now. XD

2. Edit some more on "Londerland Bloodlines": Check! Alice has successfully convinced Jeannette that she cannot just hand over the items she got for Therese (saying that she’s sorry that they have such a terrible relationship, and that she’s sure Jeannette giving her the bag will just lead to another argument), and has agreed to do “Slashterpiece” to keep in Jeannette’s good books. She was initially hesitant to steal the charity box, but her Wonderland friends indicate that – well, if nothing else, then she can donate it herself if she wants. So yeah, that’s now another thing that she has to do – but first, sidequests! AKA, it’s time to visit Kilpatrick’s first. . .

3. Keep up with YouTube Subscriptions: Check, another fairly easy day –

A) No James Turner today, so I instead turned to a lovely little OXBox list to keep me entertained – “8 Ridiculous Hitman Secret Exits You Need to See!” Yes, they’ve added an extra one this time because holy hell these exits. You can get abducted by aliens or take a classic E. T. bike ride out of the Berlin level in Hitman 3; flap your arms to fly out in the flamingo costume or give a fish to a dolphin statue to ride a pair of dolphins out of Miami in Hitman 2, or – and this is my favorite – obtain hallucinogenic drugs and a ton of apricots in the Colorado level of Hitman and leave on a cute rideable dragon toy. With 47 petting its head before going “Vroom vroom” as he leaves. XD This is adorable and fantastic and part of the reason why I love these games – they take themselves REASONABLY seriously, but never TOO seriously. XD

B) After that it was over to the Subs to watch Call Me Kevin take on a VR escape room! As you might imagine, he absolutely WRECKED the place trying to solve all the puzzles and find all the clues and keys he needed to actually escape. XD It was an interesting ride, though, with Kevin working through a variety of mysterious mysteries – where are the pipe bits he needs to connect one chunk of pipe with another? What does the phone have to do with the code to activate the bathroom mirror computer? What’s the deal with this broken brick? Can I jump to get that clue item on top of the fan? Which of these records is the best bop? When can I wear my detective hat? XD He did eventually solve it and find a way out – where he found a scribble of the “dickbutt” character. Because the creators of this game do not take it at all seriously, I guess. XD Still, it was a fun little video, and he DID find out which of the records had the best bop, so yay. :P

C) And then we had GrayStillPlays and more Happy Wheels! Today we had such fun moments as Gray desperately flinging bottles around a bottle flip board, getting himself and the King’s Throne and Impossible X2 but not his beloved shoutout (until FINALLY at the very end); Gray going through a VERY hard rope swing that ended in a very unfair ball throw (with a cleaver ready to end his life at any moment); a father-son ride through the zombie apocalypse (featuring zombie!Santa!); the Father on Bike needing to rescue his kidnapped son by dropping chains on various people wielding very sharp weapons at JUST the right moment to explode them (then avoid getting exploded in the yeeter afterward); find all three endings on a challenge board (first two were easy – third took rather a lot of finesse and thus rather a lot of tries); Nixon desperately trying to escape two cannons firing swords at him (Gray managed to swing himself out to safety in time in a couple of tries, but really had to fiddle to get his head on the winning area); another impossible pogo jump featuring mines and harpoons (as usual, it took some time, but Gray managed to get past); a pretty simple glass break with a yeeter at the end; a pretty simple rope swing; and a trip on Harry Potter’s rocket broomstick (that likes to eat knees). Good times as always! :)

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Check, though this took me the longest – had a very specific post I wanted to put up for Friday that I couldn’t find! But it’s there, queue is back to one a day, all good for the moment.

So that's all good. Just one more day of work to get through -- hopefully it goes all right! Night all!
