damostaranth) who became a miniNightcrawler. MDC mostly causes mischief, but occasionally he spurs me to update my website or to do a crossover. As you probably can guess, my main other fandoms are Marvel-related.

Yeah, well, he's here anyway, and it's one less thing for you to worry about. And of course Teen Doc gets some special museness for "Teen Doc," as he stars in that story.

True, but I feel a special affection forrevison_doc himself, so I'll leave the actual Sim in charge of that.

And speaking of Teen Doc, those plot bunnies are back out in force again.

Work today was kinda sucky. Not only was it disgustingly hot again, but we had some weird customers come in. First was a lady who came in to pick up a pair of pants. I fetched them -- turned out they still had a faint stain on them. Okay, this has happened before, we offer apologies and a free redo. Bonnie's explaining this to the woman while I process the initial transaction, get her her change and all that --
And the woman argues that she shouldn't have to pay for the original cleaning.
Um, we offered to redo them for free. And we're a business, we need to bring in money somehow. We honestly did try our best to get that stain out.
I didn't hear all of what happened with Pants Lady because, while Bonnie was handling her, I took in another customer. Another pick-up -- I get her pants and shirts, she pays, I hand her her change --
"Ooh, what shiny pennies!"
I sort of shrug and nod and close the drawer, figuring yeah, it's rare that you don't see a coin that's filthy from use. But then she startles me -- "Can I have more of them?"
"Uh -- sorry, I just closed the draw," I say -- I don't know how to reopen it for change (Bonnie always does it, and I'm generally doing something else when she does. Need to ask her)
So the woman sticks around and has Bonnie get her her shiny pennies.
Dude, WTF? I just don't get it. Why do you need SHINY PENNIES?
And of course we get a rush just when I'm scheduled to leave -- one woman with 21 items (that's two slips), another with a bunch of stuff in different categories -- and of course Bonnie disappears and I don't want to go look for her because I need to wait on all the customers. I ended up staying to 1:30. And as it is hot and miserable in the drycleaners, all I want to do is go home. The only good thing about it was the fact I got my paycheck today because I stayed over. *sigh* Good thing it's Friday.
Now, off to make some more updates to my website -- Holly has been promoted to a main character with full bio in the NonTrilogy bios, and I need to add the new muses to my muse page.
