I nearly melted at work today. It annoys me that we have an air conditioner available, but it hasn't been installed. I want to take the owner and shake him -- "HEY! IT'S HOT IN HERE! MAKE PROGRESS WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER!" On the plus side, though, I got to go the beach this afternoon -- water was nice, and I got through "The Hostile Hospital," Lemony book 8. I'm trying to get through one a day.
-DW: Good plan.-
Yeah. You don't look too hot. Did you take a dip in the pool?
-DW: *grin* I did, but I also got something better.-
-M: *grin* "Sparky" invented something, and the other Docs liked it so much they decided to help him improve it.-
Oh? What is it?
-TD: The Jacoolzi! Yes, I know, bad pun, but it accurately describes the purpose of the invention. It's a Jacuzzi, but with cool water. Perfect for that boiling summer's day.-
*a little nervous* You didn't mess with one of the real hot tubs, did you?
-D: *coming in and wiping grease off his hands* No, he knew better than to do that. He built the Jacoolzi out of a couple of old washtubs, some rubber piping, a water tank and simple cooling system, and some eggbeaters.-
. . . Eggbeaters?
-TD: For the bubbles, of course! DocWolf volunteered as our test subject.-
-DW: Heaven. We're all currently working on improvements -- such as multiple capacity.-
-TD: *all excited* I also have ideas for a cool drink system!-
