Love Is In The Air
Aug. 8th, 2005 10:04 pmIn Strangetown, anyway. I played the Hardnames (Henry and Jim) for two days, and the Smyth-Jones for one, and finally got Henry and Adelaide to fall in love. :) First off on Saturday though, I had Henry invite his coworker Gypsy over. She asked to bring a friend, I said yes, and she brought along Lorraine McFly. Henry and Gypsy chatted while Jim talked to Lorraine.

Henry and Gypsy then proceeded to play darts, eventually making friends. After a short lunch, Henry had Adelaide over -- she was definitely all lovey-dovey for him, giving him a tender kiss and seranading him:

Yes, it was well and truly love for her. :) Unfortunately, Henry's relationship wasn't as hug, so he was still in "crush" status. I wasn't going to let that stand, though.

The boys both had night shifts, leading me into Sunday. Both also got promotions to day shifts -- Jim to Host in Culinary, Henry to Nurse in Medical. Henry left first, leaving Jim to invite Bella Goth over (I want him to be friends with her). They unfortunately didn't get along so well, but I noticed something interesting about Bella's hands.

You'll notice that, unlike other "regular" sims, she has two rings (one on her pinky, one on her index finger) and nail polish! Weird!
Anyway, Jim dismissed her as his carpool came and went off to his new job.

Henry got home first, with Abijheet Cho tagging along. I let them chat for a bit, then dismissed Cho and had Henry green. Jim came home and made grilled cheese for everyone, and Henry and Jim made best friends over lunch.

Henry also called Gypsy and made best friends with her as well.
Once the boys were in bed, I switched over to the Smyth-Jones. They had a rather normal morning, getting ready for school and work. Upon arriving home, J.C. pulled out her report card --
And ended up cheering for herself since Adelaide wasn't there.

I didn't know they could do that. I had her invite Ripp Grunt over for some red hands and a pillow fight to fun her up for her homework, then had her study cleaning to get her aspiration up. Didn't really help, so I bought her a bass and let her use the energizer. In the meanwhile, Adelaide came home, used the bathroom, and had Henry over. Henry was feeling romantic too, kissing Adelaide up the arm:

And seranading her. He fell in love with her too, so my mission for the day was complete.

Later, I'll have them get married -- don't know who's house they'll be living in, though.
-VD: *reads open notebook* Aha, I see we're starting the August fanfic challenge early.-
Heh, yeah. I need a rotation story for the latest VDC. It's weird, but I feel better working on multiple projects instead of just one.
-VD2: I think it's understandable. This way you can keep multiple fandoms fresh, by switching gears every day.-
-VD: Incidentally, is it hard to write for me now?-
Not so far, no. I'm having you research the U.E.A. (and got in a "Series of Unfortunate Events" joke with V.F.D.) with Mysteria and George.
-VD: That's good. I just thought --
Heh, I know. You have to understand, you're actually not so different from NonTrilogy Doc. Since you both share a similiar link, I can switch between you two more easily.
-M2: She's got a point.-
-VD2: What about me?-
You're the ultimate angst (except for possibly the Jack Merridew Brown stories), I could NEVER forget writing you.
-VD2: *grin*-
-H: I want Boy Genius, damnit!-
If it makes you feel any better, I'm actually thinking of doing two
backtothefanfic August challenge stories, and one features TeenDoc.
-E,H,TD: ??-
I'm using "Domo Arigato" for a Trilogy-based Doc, and "Easier to Run" for Emmett. I've got this idea that I could use as a "fill-in" for "Teen Doc."
-H: I see. I still want the Boy Genius series, though.-
-E: I agree, my older self doesn't get enough screentime. Could you at least consider typing up "Definition of a Friend?"-
I would, but you have to understand -- I don't have that many NonTrilogy stories UP. Let me get up "Teen Doc" and "Reality Check 2: Double Trouble" to help fill in some of the blanks first. Although I'll probably start working on something related to you shortly. Remember my fic "An Extremely Crowded Mind"?
-OD: Of course. You explained how we came to be in that.-
Well, now my brain wants to do a sequel, "Musevolution," detailing the appearance of TeenDoc and crew, and his evolving from a fairly normal kid to a Spark.
-H: He was fairly normal before he became a Spark?-
-TD: I can build death rays now, Holly.
You know what I mean.
-DW: Maybe you should do a prequel with myself and MiniDamosCrawler -- we WERE the first new muses.-
Will you decide how many plot bunnies you want around?!
