crossover_chickI'll probably put the cleaned inked version of the whole page into scraps, then seperately upload the "cartoons" (those pictures that have a "floor") colored and such.
-OD: *tentacles chatter* Sounds good to us. We like the "clock dingbot" best, though.-
Hehe, yeah, I know. I spotted him in the background of page two of the free issue nine on Studio Foglio, and knew I had to draw him, if only for your sake.
-H: *pokes* Come on, do "Boy Genius."-
Which one, though? I've got two -- well, three, kinda -- ideas for it:
a) Alternate title for "Teen Doc" (not likely)
b) Mini-series featuring 30s TeenDoc, Emily, and Holly and some of their adventures (like how they first met)
c) Mini-series featuring Victorian TeenDoc, Emily, Holly, and Marty and their adventures paralleling the "Girl Genius" storyline

-H: Either b) or c) works for me, though I'd like to know more about c).-
In a nutshell, we have a European Hill Valley that's very anti-Spark, so naturally Emmett has to break through and flee with his sister, best friend, and new friend Marty. I've really made Emmett interesting in that one -- he'd be the nephew of Klaus Wulfenbach (his mother was the unsung, nonSparky sister), and he's most likely the bastard son of Barry Heterodyne, who had an affair with Sarah right before the whole other incident (consult the Secret Blueprints for more information).
-M: o.O So he's the cousin of both Gil and Agatha?-
Yuppers. He also capitalizes on the fact that he bears a pretty close resemblance to Gil at some point in the story. I also feature my pet theory that Othar and the "Other" are somehow related, given their similiar goals -- again, see the blueprints.
-H: Screw option b), I want to see this!-
LoL -- well, I haven't gotten all the kinks worked out yet. I'm currently debating who's going to be in as Emmett's potential love interest -- Gypsy or Clara. Gypsy's more associated with NonTrilogy Doc, who's the most closely associated with TeenDoc -- but Clara actually BELONGED to the time period. . . .
-VD: What about Mystie or Josie?-
Female Jagerkin? *looks of disbelief from VampDoc and VampDoc2* Well, I might include them as bit characters -- you see, there's a vampire hunter in the main GG storyline, so --
-VD2: O.o I see. So might not be a good idea to have the girls around.-
Precisely.
-H: Do I get to be a Spark?-
Yup, chemistry-related. I'm tempted to throw in that Marty's a minor sound Spark who hasn't broken through yet too.
-VM: *grin*-
-E: Do the Foglios know you're doing all this free advertising for them?-
No, of course not. I don't know the people (though I would like to meet them.) But Girl Genius deserves to be spread around -- that and Sluggy Freelance" are my two favorite web comics (though Pete has REALLY been jerking us around here -- tie up your plotlines already!)
-DW: *deadpan* I can tell. Art bunnies hopping all over the place.-
Just wait until my GG Jumpstart pack arrives.

revison_doc update -- Emmett is best friends with Gypsy, April has learned all of her toddler skills thanks to smartmilk, and Marty has befriend Gypsy (Dave took her home as a friend from school). Dave will also be growing up shortly.
-TD: The Simself has been busy.-
Yeah, I know. I'll be playing the Parkers tomorrow, along with his actual house -- I plan to invite all the kids over so they can strengthen their friendship and get to know Holly.
