Harry Pottered
Nov. 19th, 2005 10:04 pmHave finished with all three movies (and the special features for PoA -- no easter eggs, sadly), and I am currently happily waiting to see GoF. :)
-D: Your Neville crush resurface again?-
Yup. *beam* Nevvy's cute! I look forward to seeing more of him. :D Along with Malferret and all the rest of it.
I played Hill Valley yesterday, but because of the PoA DVD, I didn't get to post here. I played the Tannens because I could. First things first -- the house is complete with the garage.

Biff and Jiff get along reasonably well -- they play together a lot. Red Hands, Punch-U-Punch-Me. . . .

Jiff has decided not to follow his father in weight gain, however -- he works out a lot.

Jiff has also, incredibly, made a friend. On his first day of school, he brought home Ricky and proceeded to have a nice chat with him. I was very amused to find they're both interested in fashion. :p

As they played kicky bag, an interesting thing happened (which I got a crappy picture of) -- BUFORD Tannen showed up and STOLE their newspaper! :D

-M: *laugh* Even THEY don't like themselves!-
After sending Ricky home, Jiff dealt with Biff's mess in the bathroom (Biff is 1 Sloppy and thus splashes water EVERYWHERE when he showers).

Then he proceeded to slack off, dancing and practicing his bass. I'm not making him any sort of model student.

-J: Where's Biff during all of this?-
At work -- he's a criminal. He actually got two promotions in one day -- he went to work in the carpool and made Bagman. I saw his hours started right away, so I sent him out in the family truck (I was nice and gave them a pickup) to go back. He came home with a promotion to Bookie and a shot hygiene score. I made him clean up and sent him to bed.

-VM: Bah, I would have given him a Smoogo.-
How about Grilled Cheese Asperation for a few days?
-VM: . . . *fall over laughing*-
I take it that's a yes.
I also did some architectural work downtown -- got up a building on the Potachee Drive-In. It's a stand-in until I watch Part III again, but it'll do for the Sims. Inside is a mini grocery and coffee bar.

I also started the Cafe80s, next to Lou's Cafe. I'm considering making the Cafe 80s smaller -- I think I made the other places too big. Then again, Sims like lots of room.

And a shot of Downtown by Day:

Today, of course was Twin Oaks Park Day. You'll get full details in
revison_doc, but suffice it to say we have two new residents! Everyone, meet:
Harriet Shaw

-E: Aww! She's adorable!-
-H: Takes after Daddy it looks like.-
-TD: Congrats SimEmily!-
Julia Von Braun

-TD: O.O-
-OD: *tentacles chirp* She's green.-
What do you expect, she's an alien implant baby. I actually had the Special Events camera on -- that's the thing that plays special movies when important moments happen -- so I got to see both movies for the births. Emily's was standard "plumbob split" stuff.
Emmett's was hilarious.
There he is, looking terrified. Pan up to his plumbob -- a little hatch opens and out comes a baby plumbob, which turns into green baby Julia. Emmett is terrified as Julia floats down and around him ("Ahhh! WTF?!") -- he's looking around as she lands in his arms. Startled, he holds her at arm's length, a look of horrified disbelief on his face. ("This is my -- this is my --") Julia gives him a smile. Emmett softens, smiles, and holds her. ("This is my baby.") Cue loud awws.
-Jennifers: *oblige, much to the embarrassment of the Docs*-
Anyway, she's cute, her nursery is all set up, and all is well. :)
-VD2: *grumblemutter*-
I haven't even written it yet!
-VD2: Yeah -- the only time I'm GLAD to find you slacking off.-
-VM: Why did you have to include that?-
Because I'm mildly perverted and it amuses me. Much like my "Personal Belongings" story will.
-VD: Thank god you don't have a plot for that.-
At the moment.
-TD: Here, why don't you reread Goblet of Fire and drool over all the Neville moments?-
Damn you muses who know my weaknesses!
-DW: What about NaNoWriMo?-
Damn you doubly. *goes back to that*
