crossover_chick | Lazy Weekend

Well, sort of -- lazy weekend for fan fiction. I've been focusing on NaNoWriMo. However, considering that I'm closing in on "underwear sequences" for all three of my current stories ("Personal Belongings," "Dusky Past," and "Boy Genius"), the muses haven't been complaining too much. I'll revert to my normal schedule tomorrow, I promise.

revison_doc updates: Doc and Holly attended a party at the Mortes (I pretended they left Julia with Lorraine and Marty McFly), and Gypsy had a Dream Date and her first kiss with Jihoon LeTourneau. Turns out Jihoon's a Knowledge Sim.
-D: I suppose that makes sense. When will our Simself start persuing his romantic relationship with Gypsy?-
I wanted to wait until she was a full-fledged adult, but I don't want to draw things out too much. So now I'm thinking senior in college.
-D: Works for me. Hope there won't be too many scandelous whispers.-
Emmett Von Braun already popped out an alien kid. Way too late for scandelous whispers.
Also, since Moose showed off her version of the Brown Mansion, I thought I'd show mine -- highly incomplete.
-VD: You actually didn't finish building my house?-
I got involved with your family in the Von Braun cabin, so no, I didn't. I may take a simming session or two and fix it up, though. Current pictures:

House as it was when I first came in. Probably overly large, I have a nasty habit of doing that.

Front of the first floor. Was very pleased to find a Sim door that looked like Doc's.

During my visit, I added some renovations -- first floor before and after I added some furniture.

Second floor with Master Bedroom and balcony, and new Garage.

The Brown Mansion resides in Twin Oaks Park -- it was originally on the other side of the river, but I moved the lot next to the Muse house.

So, boys, how goes work on the portable hot chocolate maker?
-VD: We've hit a bit of a snag.-
Oh?
-VD2: Well, you see, we really like the backpack design -- it's just that the materials get very hot ---
I see, yeah. Gonna have to think of some way to shield the back from burns.
-VD2: Precisely.-
-DW: The rest of the design is fine. We designed it so you can pour in milk, sugar, and cocoa, and the inner workings will automatically mix them together into hot chocolate. A small furnace keeps it warm. But we can't have it scorching innocent people's backs.-
I know. Have you guys got any ideas?
-OD: That's what we're working on right now. You have to understand, we also need to take the weight of the machine into account. If we truly want a backpack design, it can't be too heavy.-
Well, they have those rolling backpacks now. . . .
-M: We told them that already. They want 'real' backpacks.-
-D: We're keeping the idea in our 'Plan B' file, however.-
-TD: *scribble scribble scribble* Encase the backpack in heat-resistant foam. . . .-
-M2: *grin* We're really looking forward to what he comes up with.-
-TD: Hey, if this works, we'll have a nice constant suppply of hot chocolate. Just wish we could get the marshmallows in too.-
-VuM: *jokingly* Maybe you could have little packets of marshmallows in a little spring-loaded can, like a Pez thing. Every time you opened the can, one would pop out.-
-TD: . . . That's pretty damn brilliant. You're really thinking like a Spark.-
-VuM: O.O-
LoL, I think you scared him a little.
-OD: *patting VultureMarty's shoulder* You're around us so much, it was bound to happen. Nothing to be worried about.-
Yeah, you can be a music Spark.
-VM: That doesn't sound all that bad, more proof we've been hanging around you guys way too much.-
