Things That Have Happened

A) I've thought of a new entry for my Christmas list -- the BTTF Part III soundtrack/score (I believe like, Part II, there are no actual songs on it). I have Parts I and II, but not Part III -- might as well complete the set, right?
-VD: I heard that the Part III tracks are out of order, however.-
Yes, I believe they are. I may actually rerecord them in the right order on a blank tape if it ends up annoying me too much. It would be nice to have some new BTTF music to listen to at night (I listen to Part II at the moment).

B) Practically done with writing "Personal Belongings" in notebook form. Just gotta type it up and submit it to backtothefanfic. It's a humor fic, involving Doc, boxer shorts, and the song "Naughty Naughty."
-D: *headdesk*-
He is wearing the boxer shorts over his pants, that's got to count for something.
-TD: *reluctantly* I suppose.-
-VD2: My other self is still not dressed!-
He was hurt! Maggie and Seamus were being nice! It was too good to pass up! And he gets his pants back tomorrow, don't worry.
-OD: I'd poke you to draw, but I'm afraid to see the results.-
-DW: You should be, the plot bunnies are coming fast and furious.-
I do have this image of TeenDoc in a stocking. . . .

C) Two of my coworkers called in sick. Result -- two employees, me and the other presser. As it was a pretty steady day, I ended up staying an hour and a half over my regular shift. Not happy about that. *growl*

D) Found and joined a Girl Genius Fan Fic Yahoo group. I'd link, but it's members-only.
-M: *puzzled* Why's that?-
Phil and Kaja Foglio encourage fan sites and all that, but on the advice of their lawyer, they don't want to read the fan fiction. Possible legal issues. (I heard something about a fanfic writer suing a creator for using their idea?!) I actually believe the Bobs have gotten similar advice about BTTF fan fic from their lawyers.
-D: It is technically plagarism.-
Yeah, but I don't think anyone wants to alienate the fans of their works. Probably best if they don't see what we do with it.

E)

2,670 words to go for an even 50,000. I think I can make that tomorrow, with any luck.

Do you have a CD burner? If not, I could easily make you a copy of BTTF III with the songs in proper order. Consider it an early B-day/X-mas present ;)
