( or, take the 'adult' version at QuizUniverse.com )

Aww, I didn't know you guys cared. ;)
-M: Invitation to the Playboy mansion?! I'm game!-
-J: *rolls eyes*-
-D: A spare time machine, a screaming fish, a lifetime subscription to "Freaks and Geeks" -- HEY!-
For me, not you. It's the thought that counts.
-VD: You have to wonder what she was thinking.-
I'd be more puzzled by the screaming fish.
-TD: *beam* That we can take apart.-
You guys are strange.
-TD: And who's fault is that?-
LoL, good point.

Strangetown Day -- I did some fiddling with the neighborhood story (incoporating the families into it), then went and played the Hardnames for a day. It was your average morning -- Jim messing up the bathroom, Henry being thrilled to clean it up:

Then it was off to work for Henry. Jim called Bella Goth and Ari, painted for a while, and met someone new, a townie named Gerard. He's Popularity, he needs the contact.

He also read in their new recliner -- I figured they deserved a comfier chair.

Henry returned at around 2 with a promotion to Intern and feeling exhausted. Since the recliner is actually comfier than their beds, I let him nap there while Jim called Bella and finally managed to make friends.

After having him get refreshed, I had him call up Adelaide Smyth-Jones and ask for a date. She accepted, and they proceeded by taxi to Bernard's Bonatical Dining. Henry promptly congratulated Adelaide on being sexy -- I think that's funny how my sims do that (Sabastian does it to Emily over in Twin Oaks Park all the time).

They partook in some gossip and games -- namely a pillow fight --

Before heading inside to eat. Henry ordered Baked Alaska, while Adelaide had an omlette.

Naturally they, being lovebirds, flirted during dinner. I'm loving "feed/steal a bite" now, can you tell?

However, I'd arranged this date with a specific purpose in mind. To whit, as the date began to wind down, I had Henry pull a surprise engagement on Adelaide.

(Don'tcha just love the faces?) She accepted of course, and they sealed the deal with a kiss.

Being as now they had a Dream Date (hint: If you want a Dream Date, find some big-level wants and fulfill them -- they push the score WAY up), I had some time to fill. So I had them slow-dance, and after a bathroom break for Henry, indulge in some bubbles.

They ended the date with Red Hands, and Henry came home happy and newly engaged. Adelaide dropped off roses shortly afterwards.

Henry has the want to hold a wedding party, so I'll probably perform the marriage at the Hardnames. I think Henry and Adelaide will then go live in the Smyth-Jones house.
-M2: I'm wondering whatever happened to college for the Strangetown kids.-
I'm really too used to playing with aging off in that neighborhood, methinks. Let me gather scholarships for you all (you all -- there's Marty, Jennifer, J.C., and Ripp Grunt (hey, I like the guy)) and I'll send you off in a group to La Fiesta Tech.
-J2: Will we meet the premade college grads?-
I could always have you join the Weasley Greek House. :p I don't think you'll meet Otto and Rosie though -- being the first, they're already in Senior year and thus too close to graduation. I'll see about Gil and Agatha.
-TD: Why do I get the feeling they're your new favorite family there?-
*blush* I like them! And the challenge of living in the Pen is interesting.

-DW: *looking around* Why have the plot bunnies shrunk?-
Drabble bunnies. GG fanfic group has a couple, and I've got an idea for a couple of Harry Potter ones from "Goblet of Fire" because of the movie.
-DW: *frown* I don't like it. You can't get a decent mouthful with these.-
Yes, but as you'll notice, there's more of them. And there's still the Christmas fic. Which I still need a title for. I mean, I have some candidates, but none seem right.
-VD2: I'm sure you'll come up with something.-
Yeah.
-OD: Any drawing plot bunnies in there?-
-DW: *sniffs* Hey, she's got some sort of ensemble pic planned!-
It's a "Happy Holidays" thing -- there's six of you, so you'll be offering well-wishes for six holidays. I've got:
-Christmas (Doc)
-Hanukkah (OckDoc)
-Kwaanza (VampDoc)
-Festivus (VampDoc2)
-Yule (DocWolf)
-Feast of St. Videcon de Cathode (TeenDoc)
-OD: *blinkblink* *tentactles chatter, confused* Er, what's that last one again?
St. Videcon de Cathode is the patron saint of Sparks, apparently. It's a joke:
TeenDoc: "And a wonderful Feast of St. Videcon de Cathode!"
Other Docs: . . .
Doc: "Is that in December?"
TeenDoc: "If it isn't, it should be."
-TD: *snrrk* I like it.-
-DW: Certainly more cheerful than this vaguely "Something Positive" one with the "Tis the Season" plotline.-
Holiday stress -- we can all relate, right?
-OD: I'll be poking you for the first, I want to see how you draw the six of us.-
Gah -- five of you I can manage, it's DOCWOLF who's going to be the problem. No good with anthros. *bites nails*
-TD: Can I declare this upcoming weekend the Feast of St. Videcon de Cathode?-
You just want cake, don't you?
-H: You can never have too much cake!-
Your Simselves from the triple birthday party would beg to differ.

May St. Vidicon preserve you from the Imp of the Perverse. Great books, especially for SCAdians who read SF.

O.o? The only "Imp of the Perverse" I know is by Edgar Allen Poe (admittedly a great author :D).

*wonders on how to find more info on St. Videcon*

Chistopher Stacheff (sp?) has written a great number of books about the fae in a science fiction setting. St videcon's story is in the book Escape Velocity.

Gotta find my copy again.
