Forgotten Picture

Besides the revison_doc update yesterday, I also did some more work on the Brown Mansion lot. I redesigned the upstairs rooms -- this is still only tentative, but this is how the floorplan looked in my mind.

Left to right facing: Emily's room, Emmett's room, Study, Elias and Sarah's room with bath. There's a second bathroom in the front of the picture.
-D: Interesting. I take it you got this out of "Teen Doc"?-
Yup. I still gotta fix up some things, but it's nice to have the furniture off the front lawn.

It is COLD. When I went to work this morning, the windchill pushed it BELOW ZERO.
-DW: *lying near heater* Very grateful for my thick fur coat now.-
*Doc fires up the hot chocolate machine, muses flock forward for a cup*
-VD: Before you say anything about us being weaklings, it almost never got quite this cold in Hill Valley.-
Hey, I've been out there. You were smart to stay inside.
-VD2: Yes, thank God for central heating in the muse house.-
-TD: I'm writing Agatha and asking for her plans for the mechanical bed warmer.-
-M: Hey, remember to make more than one.-
-D: Will it ever be warm again, I wonder sometimes.-
I know. Well, spring's coming, if slowly. *bundles up in sweaters and slippers*

Things I have done today:
-->Did many wordsearches while at work -- things were beyond slow today, with few customers and the machine in the back being busted from frozen pipes
-->Beat "Exile" on Miniclip
-->Did a little more editing on "V.D." and added a fact to the trivia sheet for it
-->Wrote more on "Boy Genius"
-->Came up with super-duper fact sheet for "Boy Genius" that takes into account new information in the latest comic (I've got this wonderful complicated theory about the Other)
-->Started "New Beginnings," my backtothefanfic challenge fic -- it features Emmett Brown and Holly Handlen and is set after "Teen Doc."
-DW: Aha, finally. And now to feast on a few of these new "Girl Genius" plot bunnies.-
-OD: Might I persuade you to add "drew something" to that list? *tentacles try to give puppy-dog eyes*-
*grabs sketchbook*
*sketches out crude drawing of the Flamethrower Sword*

-MDC: Fire!-
Not indoors.
-MDC: Hey, it would heat the place up.-
-D: We'll stick with more conventional methods of heating, thanks.-

Hi, mortuaryangel from ffn.net here. I stumbled across this journal in your user profile and thought I'd check it out. I feel your pain when it comes to the cold. I'm from Michigan, so I know how the cold sucks, especially with lake effect snow *shivers*. Awesome house! I'm just getting into the Sims 2 and I don't think I could design something like that yet.

Yeah, I hate the cold. :( Luckily it's warmed up a little lately. :)

Thanks! It's nowhere near done yet, though. And it's not actually typical of my usual houses -- I generally build boxes. :p I do have a Italian Gothic Cathedral in that same neighborhood -- it's where my favorite Sim, Emmett Von Braun, lives.

Ooh, you're lucky. I think you got that warm front that passed by us late last week, but now it's really flipping cold with a crazy amount of snow blowing around. This is the kind of stuff that makes me not want to leave my room for 8 am classes.

As for my homes, I don't go into too much detail either. I just build one story homes. If I'm feeling really lazy, I buy some of the premade homes, but that's not often.

I like your icon, too. That picture of Marty and Doc is so cute!
