Short Update

-->Got my new BTTF watch. Discovered that it didn't come with a battery and that the set button might possibly be jammed. *grrr* I don't mind about the battery so much -- my last one came without too -- but if the darn thing's broken. . . .
-->Work was okay, though the technology hated us today. We had two computer freeze-ups, one that resulted in a nice backlog of clothing orders going up. *grumph* At least it wasn't as busy as yesterday.
-->Got a hell of a lot done on "Boy Genius" -- I'm up to chapter five! Of course, this means I ought to give Chapter Three a look-over and post it. I'm also finishing up edits on the Mystie chapter of "Liquid Chocolate" -- I'm planning to have that up by this weekend.
-->Skipped Sims today -- I needed a quick break, and I thought "Stacked" was on tonight so I thought I'd spare myself working around my show (I procrasinate horribly with my LJing). Turns out Stacked is on tomorrow (maybe -- there seems to be some confusion between it and American Idol).
-->I haven't been playing Nanaca Crash all afternoon, wonder of wonders. I've been reading the webcomic JACK. Yes, I found it through your link, gigs_83. Interesting thing -- the only one I refuse to see is the end to one of the shorts, and that's because it's animated, and I just KNOW a moving version of this cartoon would freak me out too much.
"Welcome to Purgatory" was funny though. Slut!Angels :p
-->Finishing up the written chapter of "Boy Genius," then bed. Tomorrow I'll see about slipping some drawing in with the writing -- visited Potter Puppet Pals recently.

"Stacked" isn't on this week or next. Fox is now going through the first few eliminations on "American Idol", which means there's an episode for male performance, another evening for female performances, and then a results show on yet another evening. ;)

*cough* I hope you don't have any scarring due to that comic...it's awfully graphic.

And, yeah, the animated one would prolly freak you out. Here's a rundown (text is less traumatic...heh):

After a few seconds, the text in the bubbles gets blotted out, then the screen flashes to a black screen with white text reading "DIE YOU F***ING BITCH!" It goes to the guy saying "D-did you see something just now?" then the center panel moves to the left (he's going "Huh?!") showing a woman lying naked on her back with a shocked expression on her face (my guess...he caught her cheating on him). He pushes his panel back, revealing that the one to the left of him has changed to him choking her. He's saying "No, no, no, no! I LOVED her! LOVED her! Why did she do it? Why to me?!" The screen then flashes with images of his hand, a knife, blood, and the words "Why" "Unfaithful" "Slut" "Stop". The screen flashes to a black and white image of what I guess represents him cutting her throat or something (cuz my screen size is too big to see the whole thing), and the TTFN sign.

I know if something's freaking me out too much -- I get insomnia. I got my usual nice sleep last night, so no worries. :) If it gets too bloody for my tastes, I quickly read the dialogue so I don't have to spend too much time looking at the picture.

And yeah, I went on the forums to find out what that last animated comic was (I didn't want to watch it, but it was bugging me what the final twist was). I personally think he was the obsessed boyfriend/abusive spouse type.
