revison_doc has an update from Kat and Mark. Edwin looks much better with an average build and a new haircut and glasses. And now that he and Delilah are in love, I can move him in with her after he finishes Sophomore year and not worry about him. He may still join the Greek House, though.

Ack, I know! I'll make up for it today, I promise.bttfbabe has her critique on the final portion of "Liquid Chocolate" as well, so expect that soon.

Sent an e-mail to Mom and Dad -- I really ought to think about getting some sort of bank card and a PayPal account so I can do this on my own. *ponder* Then again, going through Mom and Dad helps prevent some spending sprees, I'm sure. . . .
Anyway, back to the topic on the entry. I've been frequenting the HMS STFU, which is all about shipping wank, primarily Harmonian. It's gotten me to thinking about my own ships, and I've decided something.
I LIKE the silly names the Harry Potter shippers give their ships, darn it.
So I've decided to name my own.
-DW: Just because?-
Just because. Because what's a ship without a silly name?
-TD: A pairing that you would like to see in canon or fanon that merely lacks the usual identifier.-
Stop bringing logic into this. Anyway, here's my Harry Potter ships:
Heron (Hermione/Ron) (aka The Good Ship R/Hr)
The Government Stole My Toad (Luna/Neville) (I've also heard Lune)
Wotcher Wolvie (Remus/Tonks)
I especially like "The Government Stole My Toad," it just sounds Luna. :p
As for my other fandom ships, I still need to name a few personal rowboats. Here's my ships for "Back To The Future," "X-Men," "Spider-Man," and "Girl Genius."
BTTF:
X-Men Movie Only:
Spider-Man:
Girl Genius:
I haven't named them all yet, but I've come up with a few ideas.
For BTTF:
"Astronomical" as a possible Doc/Clara ship name, for Clara's interest in astronomy
"Daydream Believer and Homecoming Queen" for George/Lorraine -- yes, from the song! I thought it fit
For X-Men:
None yet, actually.
For Spider-Man:
"Blinded Me With Science" could make a good Otto/Mary-Alice ship name, they were both scientists
For Girl Genius:
"Sparks Fly" for Agatha/Gilgamesh
"Jager Hateclub" for Boris/Von Pinn, as I imagine they'd bond over a hatred of the jagers
Anyone else got any other ideas for ship names? I'd like to hear them.
And now, back to work before I get poked to death by this lot.
