crossover_chickOnce you are tagged you MUST write a blog entry about your 6 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next six people to be tagged and list their names.
1) I can't read or watch anything without trying to cross it over with my main obsessions -- as evidenced by my Marvel and "Girl Genius" BTTF crossovers, and my thoughts of WereGil.
2) I can get lost for hours in reading a web comic's archives. Even if I'm rereading them, actually. (See "Kevin and Kell" for a recent example.)
3) Sometimes I think I like planning out a project more than the execution. Designing characters is actually pretty fun. (Maybe this is why I love "The Sims" so much.)
4) It is apparently very hard to get me to smile "properly" for a photo. Whenever we have a picture-taking session, Mom always tells me to smile natural, when I think I AM.
5) Despite my love for the BTTF fandom, I rarely write fanfiction featuring time travel! And when I do, the characters generally spend most of the story stuck in the other time period. I much prefer writing about how Doc and Marty get along than the time machine.
6) I can be anal at times -- I try to follow a strict schedule and I like compartmentalizing stuff. For example, I have my bookshelves sorted by subject and series (e.g., all my Harry Potter books together, on the same shelf as my Series of Unfortunate Events books).

Strangetown today, and things are finally entering a state of flux!
-M: Doc finally get the time travel career?-
Heh, not quite. I played the Love Story household today -- Otto and Rosie. They still had a lot of time left at school -- I had them spend it studying skills. Rosie worked on Cooking and Cleaning, while Otto focused on Body.
My main goal was to get up to four points in everything for both -- I had to settle with three Body points for Otto, though. It took him FOREVER to get that third point.
It was also a time for renewing friendships -- Otto called his friend Sharon after breakfast, Rosie called her professor friends during lunch.
But other than that, it was mostly just basic day to day living. Rosie started a new painting to keep her fun levels up, while Otto chose to go to bed early, worn out from his excercise.
Naughty Otto, stop dreaming about Joy Fuchs!
-M: *snort*-
-J: *roll eyes* Cheerleader become a bit of a thorn in your side?-
Eh, not really. Considering Otto has regular "heartsbubble" thoughts about Rosie--
AND spontaneously made out with her, I think they're good.
However, Joy calls Otto CONSTANTLY, and she seems to be the only cheerleader who stops by anymore. Either she's really smitten, or she's Popularity.
Then again, I suppose she's better than that crusty old gym coach. Bitch would just NOT let up on Otto, even while he was writing in his diary! Wish there was a more effective way to shoo them.
-D: I'd be annoyed too. Look at HER body mass -- she thinks she's qualified to coach?!-
"Those who can't do. . . ." And she's really not fat, the shorts just aren't too flattering. Anyway, once the Evil Coach and Joy left, it was time for Otto and Rosie to follow. They had a last meal together:
Then I grabbed the beds and the thinking cap.
Hey, as long as they have the inventory. . . . Then one last mail call (they got a coupon!), and it was back to the Sim Bin of the main neighborhood! I had to make them leave separately, but they'll get back together soon enough.
Otto grew up okay -- Rosie needs a bit of an outfit change, though. I dread seeing what Gilgamesh and Agatha will grow into.

Yeah, fingers crossed.
Did some editing today on "V.D.," "Boy Genius," and "Big Teeth," and finishing up the new first chapter on "Extremely Crowded Mind." Oh, and wrote on "Dusky Past."
-OD: Now all you have to do is get started on that second batch of Puppet Pals.-
