*wants BTTF Plushies*
May. 26th, 2006 11:20 pmYou can't hug Kubricks. Einstein's a good start, but I want PlushDoc.
-VD: *rolls eyes* So having your fanon versions around isn't enough for you?-
I can't exactly cuddle you when I go to bed. Unless you're offering. . . .
-VD: NO.-
-VD2: Don't you know how to sew?-
Sort of. Doubt I could make any decent-looking dolls, though.
-D: You never know until you try.-
Heh, true. Still, I think Mom could probably sew up a better version. Embarrassed to ask, though.
-TD: Your mother owns a sock monkey. I wouldn't be embarrassed.-
*snrrk*
-OD: *pokes* Forget the dolls for the moment and do something with fan fic. Or finish coloring that "Werewolves of London" picture.-
Hey, I am working on editing "BTTX-2." And I'm going to try to work on "The Originals" too.
-TD: "Do, or not do. There is no try."-
Soooomebody's been watching Star Wars again.
-H: It keeps him happy. Allows gives us a chance to clean the lab a bit.-
-D: Clean the lab?-
-E: Just some dusting and mopping up spills you haven't gotten to. We wouldn't touch your equipment.-
-DW: I hope not. Some of that is very delicate. The slightest movement at the wrong instant, and it all falls apart.-
-VD2: Thank you, though. That was nice of you.-
-H: Not a problem.-
Time for the Sims Update -- I promised you Hill Valley Baines, and Hill Valley Baines you get. They didn't do much, honestly. Toby and Joey remain unemployed, to my annoyance. This family needs more money, darn it. Relations are also volatile -- I was able to get one picture of Milton and Sally agreeing on something. It's almost impossible for them to talk!

Family meals are a bit better, you're sure to find some relationship gain.

Anyway, I had them spend part of the day studying up their skills. First, there was a morning study session, with Toby on Creativity, Sally on Mechanical, Joey on Charisma, and Milton on Logic.

Then later, while Sally was at work, the boys continued studying -- Toby still on Creativity, but Joey on Body and Milton on Charisma.

In between, Sally talked to Christy (she's up to 80 Daily with that girl, and they're STILL NOT FRIENDS!) and took a nap while Milton was at work.

Milton, incidentally, scored a great chance card while at work -- by returning a brace to his teammate, he got private training sessions and 2 Body points. Not bad at all. Sally is also doing well at her job -- after spending the waking part of her afternoon reading the Romance novel, she went out and scored herself a promotion to Hostess!

I guess that reading the pink book has some use after all. ;) I promptly sent her to grab some logic skill for her next promotion.

Joey also met someone today (Saturday in their timeline) -- a Melissa Fancey. They got along very well. I had Joey check her out, she scores a one on the Lightning Bolt scale. She has a chance, but I'll wait to see if I can get someone better.

But there's no sense in not letting her up Joey's friend count in the meantime. A quick call later that day keeps things strong.

Joey and Toby often find themselves dining together, due to their unemployed status. Lunch is shared grilled cheese sandwiches -- Joey appears to be talking about his love of classical music. Wouldn't expect that in a klepto.

Dinner is juice for Joey, and T-Bone steak for Toby. Joey was too tired to get himself a proper meal, and Toby wanted to take advantage of his fairly-high cooking skill. *wonders about downloading a few other foods* I like this custom stuff.

Soon enough, everyone was in bed (they were up early this morning -- I actually had everyone except Milton take naps during the course of the day). I took a moment to build a new room onto their house. You see, while I played them today, I noticed a definite lack of fun objects. So I created a little study for them, moved the bookcase, chair, and easel in there, and added another easel and a chessboard. I also added more counter space to the kitchen.

So now they'll have a bit more fun stuff to do. Hopefully I can get Toby and Joey employed soon so they can contribute funds and make their house better.
A final aside -- Buford Tannen appears to be stalking them. He walked by twice in the wee hours of the morning, and once that evening. O.o Maybe he finds Sally attractive.
-M: Eeeugh.-

Bleh. Tired.
-OD: And who's fault is that?-
My own, for putting HMS STFU on my Favorites.
-VD: I hope you still plan to write.-
Oh, yeah, being tired never stopped me before. *goes off to do that*
