Happy Birthday Jennifer, Huey, and Dad!

crossover_chickYeah, I know, three people sharing one birthday.
-M: My girlfriend shares her birthday with my favorite rock star, woo!-
-J: *laugh* At least I'll never have to worry about you forgetting it.-
-D: *hug* Happy birthday Jennifer.-
-VM: We all got you guys a bunch of girly stuff -- nail polish, hair curlers, manicure and pedicure kits. . . .-
-VJ: Awww, that's sweet.-
-VD2: And some gift certificates to a nearby swim shop so you can pick out some new bathing suits.-
-M2: We would have bought them for you, but we didn't want to pick something you didn't like.-
-J2: *kissu* I'm sure you would have done fine, but thanks anyway.-
-JenniferCat: So, did we get a Sims play session?-
Yup, in Hill Valley. Next year I'm going to try and sync up all the birthdays with Twin Oaks, but this will do for now.
You guys had a very early day -- turns out I'd stopped playing last time while it was still Wednesday. You guys transitioned over to Thursday while building skills.
After that, it was really just random stuff -- breakfast, painting, stuff like that. You and Robert both also caught quick naps.
My big goal for the day? Finally get Jennifer and Doc to be friends! So I let her starve for Social for a bit, then put her on the phone with Doc. Things started off a bit badly, but I managed to get them pretty close before she left for school.
Robert fulfilled his Social need via Chat with a girl named Sunny, before going to work himself.
A few fast-forwarded hours passed, until Jennifer came back home. It was right back to the phone with her -- she managed to get up to 47 daily with Doc before stopping.
Then, after a quick energize in the new Energizer, it was time to invite a few friends over. Jennifer had Marty and townie pal Sandy stop by -- Doc was, unfortunately, at work. Ah well, Jennifer went out and entertained Marty while her Dad came home.
Strickland wandered by as the couple started getting into PDA territory. By his expression and thought balloon, he's seen the canon. :p
-M: Jerk. *to MartyFox* Hey, what kind of animal is he? Bald Eagle?-
-MF: *snigger* Vulture, actually.-
-Martys: *lol*-
*snrrrk* Anyway, turns out Strickland was evilly plotting to steal the paper. Jennifer and Marty gave him what-for as he ran off.
Then Jennifer went to talk to Sandy, leaving Marty to go to the bathroom and play their piano. She and Sandy gossiped about Robert, of all people! Robert, for his part, ws talking to William McFly, trying to make best friends. Didn't work. :(
-AJ: Aww, poor Dad.-
Ah well, just has to wait another few days.
Jennifer eventually bid goodbye to Sandy and went inside to do her homework. (She also called Doc multiple times, but he was always at work -- I gotta check his hours again, he seemed to be there for an unusually long time.) Robert, unfortunately not having enough cooking skill to bake a cake, set out birthday gelatin instead.
After finishing her homework, Jennifer gave Marty a nice tip on his piano playing. As the sun went down, though, they got a little frisky again. :) Poor Jennifer had to give the backrub though -- Marty being a visiting Sim, I couldn't have him do it.
-Jenniferstrike: *sultry* Oh, we don't mind. . . .-
-VDM: Uh -- no offense, sweetie, but I'd be a little nervous if you rubbed my back.-
-Jenniferstrike: *examining nails* You may have a point.-
Jennifer sent Marty home after this, and indulged in a bit of gelatin.
Then she FINALLY managed to get a hold of Doc and invite him over. They greeted each other, then dove right into a friendly game of Rock-Paper-Scissors.
Then they started chatting about current events, finally making friends. :) Yay, about time.
-J: Really! He IS my friend too.-
-M: Hey, wait a minute. I'M the one who talks about our dates.-
-J2: Who says I wouldn't want to share?-
Exactly. Doc came in for gelatin, then stayed to chat until bathroom needs and the late hour forced him to leave. Then it was off to bed with the Parkers.
-J: Not bad.-

revison_doc wish you a happy birthday. Speaking of revison_doc, I made a little banner/button thing after my_sims_reality asked for one:

Actually, I'm going back to Teen Doc and your first experience with alcohol. Holly will be involved -- and maybe I'll bring in her brother Terrence!

-TD: For YOU, perhaps. *frown* Is my alcohol aversion going to be seen in "Boy Genius?"-
I can't see a spot for it currently. Perhaps in the sequel.
-DW: Anything else? I've been seeing a number of mini plotbunnies around.-
I recently suggested a drabbles88 challenge (afteranonymoose_au thought it up) to backtothefanfic. No takers so far, but I'm considering doing a personal version.
-VD2: Interesting. Multi-universe?-
Why not? :) Would help keep me in the swing of things writing-wise as well -- I don't want to start any more major projects until I've got a couple of stories editted and "Boy Genius" is closer to being done. (We're on page 91, chapter 8 btw)

Most of the prompts I borrowed from the other two drabbles100 table. A few Moose and I made up ourselves, though.
