Things That Have Happened
Jul. 29th, 2006 11:50 pm-->My Girl Genius collections came today! Yes! Now I have the complete set. They're in lovely condition, and Collection 5 has on the "about the authors" page an image of Agatha and Gil cuddling. I am pleased. :D
-->
revison_doc update -- a big one featuring the McFly home bakery. They're up to rank 3 and doing quite well for themselves. Next update, it's back to college!
-->Uploaded a crapload of pics to devART -- mostly BTTF:The Ride related, though there's a few old Halloween pictures and my "me and Craig Shaw Gardner" picture. You can see them in my scrapbook. Hey, OckDoc, does that count as fanart?
-OD: *consults with tentacles* Not really, but as you uploaded them on devART and will get commentary, we'll give you partial credit.-
Tanku. :)
-->I wrote my e-mail to Bob Gault about the ride closing, and included some pictures. He probably won't care, but I felt better for writing it.
Dear Sir,
I have recently learned the from the website BTTF.com that you intend on closing "Back To The Future -- The Ride" at the end of September. I am very sorry to see the ride go. The Ride was actually what introduced me to the Back To The Future trilogy. I so loved Doc Brown and Biff Tannen that, once I returned home, I decided to rent the movies. They have since become my favorite trilogy of movies.
BTTF: The Ride was always one of the highlights of my visit to Universal Studios Florida. I enjoyed most of the other rides, but my favorite has always been BTTF: The Ride. I always made sure to visit the gift shop, and often the Ride would be the last ride we visited in the day. I don't know if anyone there remembers this, but I was also the girl who, on her birthday, came to the park dressed in Doc Brown's outfit from 2015. That's how much I love these movies and the Ride.
I am very sad to see The Ride being shut down and replaced by a Simpsons ride. Any future visits to Universal Studios Florida will be tainted by the Ride's absence.
I am including a number of pictures depicting me in and around the Ride area. I will miss BTTF: The Ride very much, and always treasure the fond memories I have of it.
Sincerely,
Miss

-VD: I hope so, you've got editing.-
-VD2: Especially on "Misery Journey."-
I know, I know, I'll try and have that up by tomorrow.
