Yup. Going nice and smooth at the moment, yayz. Now to get to more revisions.-

Eh, slowly. I know what I want to say, it's really just a matter of word choice.
-D: The muse comes and goes, so to speak?-
You could say that, yes. Right now, I'm stuck on "Marty goes Sparky/Mad" ideas.
-MF: I noticed. They taste extremely weird.-
-DW: I kind of like them myself. It's not like you're not smart, Marty.-
-MF: Yeah, I know, but -- me as you?-
-M2: It boggles the mind.-
Well, you're not EXACTLY like Doc -- I always picture you as having a special gift for music and sound. You know, sonic gun, new musical notation, songs coming a mile a minute --

Heh, yeah. Perhaps I'll work it into a drabbles88 or something.
-M: Sounds good to me. You'd better get their revisions done first, though.-
Well, I'm gonna give Chapter One of "V.D." another look-over tonight. I'm hoping to finally get some of it up on the website. Maybe skip the trivia page temporarily, until I can finalize all the trivia going into it.
-VD: That sounds quite satisfactory. Can you give me until the end of the week for the new chapter one?-
I shall do my best!
-TD: What about Chapter 7 of "Boy Genius?"-
I'm gonna try to get up a chapter a month.
-TD: Ah, I see. But what about the cut scenes with Klaus and such?-
Once I get Chapter 7 edited, I'll see about writing one of those. I really AM going to get to all this.
-VD2: In the interest of thoroughness then, what about the August challenge fic?-
Temporarily on hold. I want to watch the gunfight in Part III again before doing any more with that. My memory's a tad rusty, I'm afraid.
-D: . . . You know the first movie well enough to be able to add an accurate soundtrack to the soundless AMC channel version.-
Refreshes never hurt. Though on that note, I hope someone makes a transcription of the enhanced version tidbits -- I thought that when they said DVD-TV, they were going to show us stuff that was already on the DVD! *headdesk*
-M: *patpat* Maybe it'll reair.-
Maybe. Though I suppose it also depends on whether those clips were written or sound. Like I said above, AMC at our house comes with only the picture. (Don't ask me why -- technically, we don't even HAVE that channel.)
Back to Strangetown for this update, playing Otto and Rosie. They're doing pretty well for themselves. Otto started the day with a robot while Rosie made herself some breakfast.
Then, while Otto had his breakfast, Rosie called up her pal Debbie from college. Guess she was very impressed with the omlette she made and had to share.
After breakfast, Otto called up Joy Fuchs the cheerleader while Rosie studied cooking. I was hoping to make a new friend, but we're just not quite there yet. Ah well, I'm sure Otto liked talking about his graduation.
And then it was off to work for Otto! Doesn't he look sharp? :)
Rosie had the day off (though it wouldn't matter anyway, she has the night shift), so I had her work on getting some skills for her own job. Cue excercising.
Unfortunately, she didn't get very far before her hygiene threatened failure. Ah well. Cue a bubble bath.
I had her get to the bills next. Lorraine happened to pass by as she paid -- since Rosie was feeling a bit lonely, I struck up a conversation. Didn't go to well, but at least Rosie has someone new in her contacts list.
Rosie was also feeling a bit fun-deprived -- after a quick lunch, I sent her to the robot bench to test her luck. Didn't go as well as Otto's, but I'm sure that'll change. She needs Mechanical for the job, after all. (It DOES seem to help with robot-making -- Rosie was definitely learning slower that Otto, who has a higher Mech skill.)
While Rosie was working, a woman passed by. When I hovered my mouse over her, I got a shock. This gal is Strangetown's answer to Marion Alsomethingorother -- the red-headed cheerleader currently helping hold the Greek House:
-M: O.o-
Yeah, I know. At least it isn't like the two Ivys in Hill Valley -- these two are in different neighborhoods.
Otto came home at five with a promotion to Inventor! Longer hours, but he and Rosie still share Thursday off. I think I'll hold off a bit on the next promotion so they can get married already. Rosie welcomed this good news with a bit of flirting.
Then Otto hit the bathroom while Rosie got in some more studying. Joy also called Otto back -- still not friends, though. *humph*
Nightfall brought me an exhausted Rosie -- I really should have gone with yoga. I let her grab a nap while Otto ate and hit the telescope. It was enough to get her cleaned up before bed.
Otto stayed out stargazing for a bit more, then fixed Rosie's robot before heading to bed himself.
-D: So they're getting married Thursday?-
Yup. It'll be a small little party, but they'll finally be married, and I can trade their two singles for a double. Won't start on kids for a bit yet, though.
-M2: You still doing four tentacle kids, or just the two regular?-
Leaning toward two regular, if only because I saw some Doc Ock tentacles on ModTheSims2. :) Another reason to leave Otto as an inventor for a bit!
-TD: You should get that Telsa Coil too.-
Eh, I hear it's buggy. Would be cool though, even just as atmosphere. I need some sciencey stuff for Eureka later. Hey, Martys, come to an agreement yet?
-M: We're still kind of divided.-
-M2: It kind of depends. VampMarty likes the kid option, but doesn't want to be a construct unless that means a teenage vampire. MartyFox, on the other hand, likes the construct option, but prefers the idea of being Doc's roomie.-
Oooh, I see. You guys want to mix and match the options a little.
-VDM: Yeah, kind of.-
Okay then, let's sort them:
A) Roommate of Doc's in college

C) Construct of Doc's in college

George and Lorraine: Have successfully infiltrated WADOTAT to get an insider's view. Unfortunately, someone's discovered the agent Doc knocked out to save Marty from being shot, so the base is in lockdown. And someone just noticed Lorraine's out of place.
-M: I suppose Mom will be going all "say hello to my little friend" again.-
Probably, yeah.
Doc and Marty: George2015 kindly helped them get the car to the Fusion Industries garage, and gave them money to go shopping with. (I say kindly, but in fact he owes Doc -- in the current timeline, it appears Doc took the rap for George and Lorraine's killing spree.) Doc's bought a sleep-inducing alpha rhythm generator and a Holo-tool -- basically, it can become any tool with the flick of a switch.
-Docs: *DROOL*-
Yeah, that's what I did too. :p They're currently at Pizza Hut, having lunch. The 2015 version of Jennifer has found them and is going to be helping them get a new weapon for Marty.
-J: Ooo, who plays her?-
Jennifer McFly.

Jennifer: 1985 version is holed up at home. 2015 version is assisting Doc and Marty in getting armed for their fight. She's been kind enough to give us invisibility devices, anyway. I guess she DOES have the occasional original thought.

But Aaron just told us not to get too attached, hehehehe.
George55: Just fled the Baines's house -- he didn't get his stories back, though he DID crash Biff's car -- released the parking brake! :D

Yeah. Lorraine was flirting with him shamelessly -- and Aaron even added George was pantless! :D He's currently back at home, being grounded by his father for missing out on his grandparent's visit.
Biff: O.o we haven't heard from him in ages. I assume he's headed home, after telling John Luke all he knows about Doc and Marty.
-D: Watch that guy turn out to be a double agent.-
My money's already on NIFADOT's "The Other" to be an echo of Doc.
Okay, back to fanfic editing. Also want to revisit Narbonic -- I've got a fanart idea.
