crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
[personal profile] crossover_chick
Doc and Marty come up with the idea of using a train to push the DeLorean up to 88 miles per hour. While checking things out at Shonash Ravine, Doc ends up saving Clara Clayton. Instant Love -- just add water!
-OD: Heeey-
I'm only teasing. Though you have to admit, it IS a little weird. I mean, think about it. You know her for what, THREE DAYS? I know it seems like a hell of a lot longer in the movie, which I suppose just proves you two are right for each other, but well -- yeah!
-OD: You've been reading movie parodies again, haven't you?-
Abridged scripts, yes.
-TD: *poke* Well, stop for five seconds and give me some more "Boy Genius." That's the one problem with Mondays -- you don't get any physical writing done.-
-VD: On the plus side, I did see her doing some "Play Mystie For Me" revisions.-
Yeah -- I had the idea now, so I figured I'd get it out. *goes to get the "Boy Genius" notebook*
-VD2: I have to ask about actual "V.D." updates.-
Working on that too -- I think I'll have Chapter 2 up this week.
-VD: Finally!-
Yeah, I know.
-DW: Um, Vic? Can we get rid of the "Doc attacked by fangirls" plotbunnies? They're getting just a little creepy.-
-M: She's having those again? I thought she finally got it out of her system with the J.C. Joens stuff.-
-D: . . .-
-M: I'm being really naive, aren't I?-
-D: It's off the scale, Marty.-
*giggle*
-MF: How about at least keeping it to your TAS/Sluggy universe? The Doc there can fight back. Don't torture poor [livejournal.com profile] foxywriter's Doc.-
-TD: Wah?-
-RPD: Wait, I thought she didn't like using other people's versions of the characters? That's the whole reason I don't have a Marty!-
A) This guy stands no chance of becoming a muse, and B) it's more like a plot bunny that won't go away. Doc got off a little light in the "real world" segment of "No Place Like Home."
-M2: So what? So Kirsten writes--
You met a fan while at the urinal, Marty.
-M2: . . . No! I'm a good sidekick! Leave him alone, he suffers enough!-
Oh, for -- I'm not actually WRITING it. Just some silly imaginings.
-DW: For those of us who live here, that's enough.-
Party Poopers.
-TD: I never though I'd say this, but don't you have a Sparky Rant for me in "Boy Genius?"-
Yeah! I gotta get to that bit! *write write write*
-VDM: Sometimes there's advantages to being a favorite, huh?-
-TD: *shrug* The attempts to ogle me in my underwear kind of cancel them out, though.-

A quick meme before I go:
Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, what significance does it have.
I think I may have the least on my friendslist! Does anyone else have just a Free Account?
default (fiction)
This is a collaborative effort between [livejournal.com profile] bttfbabe and [livejournal.com profile] anonymoose_au -- bttfbabe made the first version of the icon, and Moose altered it so it ran slower and used some different text. I fell in love with it because I'm a huge BTTF AU writer, and I'm sure this is exactly how the muses feel sometimes.
EEEK
An icon by [livejournal.com profile] fluffytwinkies, I got it simply because that's one of my favorite scenes in Part I. It was my first animated icon as well, until I got my current default.
so cute
[livejournal.com profile] gigs_83 helped make my original set of icons -- this is one of them. I used it as a default until bttfbabe and Moose made my current one. When LJ gave free users six icons to play with, I brought it back as my flirty icon. I've always loved that ridiculous mind-reading helmet. :)
sarcastic mood
Another one by Gigs, this is my "annoyed/angry" icon. Another favorite expression of mine from Part I -- "Yeah, Futureboy, real good job on your parents."
exhausted
This is actually a redo -- I had another version of this made by Gigs, but I ditched it for EEEK. When I got the six icons, I redid it in [livejournal.com profile] lechatron's icon maker. I am generally tired when I update this. And once again, I can't resist the Doc face. SleepingDoc is cute! (Hell, I've got the full-size version of this as my computer wallpaper)
sparky
A Christmas gift from [livejournal.com profile] anivad, after I requested a Doc icon with the phrase "feeling Sparky." :) I was very heavily into Girl Genius then (well, still am), and I really wanted an icon to tie the two fandoms together in some way. I generally use this as a creative icon.

You know, it only just hit me that I've got exactly ONE icon that features the 1985 Doc? And of the remaining five, three are from the same chapter -- the demonstration of the car! That's almost enough to make one go Sponsored.
-TD: I don't see any problems with having a lot of a younger Doc.-
-M: Yeah, but you're one yourself.-
-D: At least Part I really IS universal to all of us of the correct 1985 age.-
-RPD: What icons would you get if you did upgrade?-
Two come immediately to mind:
Not Crazy, Just Unwell
Damn, Damn Damn
Though there are others. And it might be interesting to have a muses icon that cycled through pictures of the seven of you.
-VD: When would you use THAT, though?-
I dunno, but it would be fun to have.
