More Coloration

backtothefanfic challenge fic -- "We're All Mad Here."
-M: Sounds like a horror story.-
No, no, it's more on the fluff side. I'm not THAT much into American McGee's version.
-VD2: Heh, good. I think TrilogyDoc would have had something to say about another horror story. He feels "Abominable Doc" was enough.-
-D: Psycho-Doc was pretty bad. Not quite Jack, but. . . Well, you know.-
-Martys: *shudder, nodnod*-
Trust me, it's nice. There's only so much death and destruction a person can take.
Clayton day today in Strangetown -- gotta catch up with my other families after the double Hardname session. The day started off nicely enough, with Clara going in for an early morning dip.
Spectacular dive, Clara. The other girls had breakfast -- waffles and banana -- then Mystie and Josie fooled around while Gypsy joined Clara in the pool.
Josie called up Emmett L. Brown around 10 -- I wanted them to at least make friends. It wasn't too hard, luckily. :) Some jokes, a chat about kissing, Emmett explaining his want to see a ghost, and some tickles, and they were up into the 70s. A later call from Emmett brought it into the 80s. :)
Clara and Gypsy kept working out -- Gypsy came out of the pool with a new fit physique.
-D: I like.-
I figured. :p Clara, meanwhile, had moved on to exercising to Sims 1 Buy Mode music. Mystie, puzzled by this blast from the past, gave a guitar recital to try and drown it out.
After letting her rock out for a while, I sent her and Gypsy up to the benches to practice their badges. Gypsy made another broken robot, while Mystie successfully made a clown-in-the-box and a fire truck.
After fixing her robot, Gypsy decided to have a friend over herself and invited new father Henry Hardname around.
She entertained him with a few jokes and such, nothing major. Henry did choose to swoon over her -- stop that Henry, you're a married man with a newborn.
While that was going on, Mystie made pie for everyone! She, Josie, and Gypsy had some while discussing little Christopher Hardname (or somebody's kid). Clara, exhausted from trying to get a Body point, was napping at the time.
Night fell, bringing the threat of Mystie's carpool. Seeing as the girls have the thinking cap hat stands I downloaded from MATY, I quickly put an expresso machine on the free kitchen counter and had Mystie load up.
Clara FINALLY got her Body point by running Josie's obstacle course (only one more Body point, and she's got all her skills maxed!), and joined Josie and Mystie for pie, coffee, and conversation.
Gypsy was otherwise occupied. :p
Mystie eventually headed to work, and the other girls to bed. Mystie returned with the memory of making 25,000 simoleons and a (thankfully!) refreshed bladder. She went to bed as well, and I saved.
-RPD: Any time for Eureka?-
I made time -- finished Eastwood museum!
Exterior -- you saw this before, I'm just showing there's trees and stuff outside now.
Interior -- a nice mix of sculptures and paintings. I tried to go for high-end stuff, and picked stuff with a vaguely old-timish feel. A rather odd museum, but hey, it'll work for my Sims.
Exterior -- and the park area outside, with two barbeques, a fountain, and a swingset.
-RPD: Yes! So next is the last Narbonics lot?-
Yup, Artie's Vegan place. Lots of plants in this place. Remind me to have my sims order salads and stuff if they go there.
-RPD: Will do.-
So, DocWolf, you and MartyFox decide on Halloween costumes yet?
-DW: Yup! Got the inspiration just a couple of days ago.-
Oh, good! Who are you going as?
-DW: Batman.-
