Hmm, yeah, windchill would be an issue, wouldn't it? Bleh.
-VD: Could be worse, of course. At least this winter has been fairly temperate.-
-VD2: Does make you wonder about global warming, though. *frowns thoughtfully* We already had black snow from all the soot Biff was pumping into the atmosphere, is it possible he could have had an effect on world temperatures?-
Maybe. US temperatures at least. Black snow -- eugh. I may not like the white stuff all that much, but let's keep it white, kplzthx.

-VD2: You think being able to read netspeak is bad? HatterDoc can apparently speak in emoticons.-

LJ communites I browse. I have no idea where most of them originated -- like OMGWTFBBQ. I try to keep usage to a minimum -- overuse, and your writing looks more like a secret code.
-DW: Like the worst of the stories on FF.net?-

Went to visit the Weasleys today, just to see how they were. Fred and George were rolling up some nice, fulfillable Pleasure wants today -- I sent to watch some TV straight off. Yummy Channel, of course.
Fred got a Cooking Point from watching said Yummy Channel, so I upgraded the kitchen a bit and had him make breakfast. He's a very messy stirrer.
After breakfast, Fred played on the couch while Percy harvested the money trees and practiced Charisma. Can't tell where George is -- oh, right, he's in the tub if I recall correctly.
George and Percy also played some kicky-bag. Pleasure Sims, so easy to please. . . .
As daylight broke, Fred called his best friend Shelby to connect -- yay for a new best-friendship.
He also wrote his term paper as Percy and George headed off to class. After finishing that, it was time for a little TV -- and then to meet Jessie, who was passing by. They got along all right, and Fred has a bolt for her. It's all good. :)
Percy and George come back from class and pull a role-reversal. Percy hits the bubble blower while George writes his term paper. Granted, Percy got all his work for the semester done, while George just earned the final skill point he needed for class and is racing to catch up, but still. . . .
Llama comes and cheers Percy "getting high." (Actually, I shouldn't put that in quotation marks -- Sims do float when they blow bubbles)
George gets most of his term paper done, then calls Julie Grey to chat. They end up friends, bumping the house to Level 3, yay. Now I just need to throw another party and get the pledges to attend so they'll become full members. . . .
After that, it was basically bed for everybody -- they'd been up since midnight, after all.
-RPD: Hmmm, rather quiet update, especially for a Greek House.-
Well, I got on late. Plus, you know, my two main neighborhoods are Twin Oaks Park and Eureka -- Strangetown and Hill Valley are more for fun.
-DW: Judging from some of the Sim-related plotbunnies I've been finding, she's also been obsessing over this latest expansion pack.-
I shouldn't be, I know. But damn it, this is the one I've gotten well and truly excited about! I've already got ideas on how to do the seasons in each neighborhood and such.
-D: You know, there's REAL gardening. . . .-
I prefer having my Sims do all the messy work.
-D: Get a Chia sponge.-
*snorks* They're out of season. Really, why IS it Chia only advertises in December? You think Herb Gardens and the like would be more a spring idea.
-RPD: I do have a question -- I know you have a Plant Marty thanks to a downloaded skin, but will he be turning into a real Plant Marty later on?-
I don't know. I heard that Plant People don't grow like regular people lifestage-wise, so we'll see once the EP comes out.
And now, to work! Gotta get some "V.D." edits done before I get fwapped, and see if I can get any more done on "Siblings" or "Boy Genius."
-TD: Either one works for me. In the meantime, I'll be puttering around with the furnace.-
Oh boy -- be careful, we don't want the house to skyrocket.
