Impressions of Seasons
Mar. 3rd, 2007 11:37 pm-->Riverblossom Hills looks interesting enough. Good place to get my feet wet with my custom content disabled and my hacks out. Remind me to replace those later.
-->Let's play lone farmer, he looks like a good starter Sim. Leod McGreggor -- I bet I know where the last name comes from.
-->. . . Snow on teh ground. MELTING snow on teh ground, no less. O.o
-->Hey, new play interaction! Leod and Gabe (friend of his who I invited over), let's play catch.

. . . They're not very good at it.
-->FISH!

Leod, get out that fishing pole! We're gonna catch some stuff.

CRAPPIEST CAST EVER. Let's try that again.

A bite! And it's -- a largemouth bass, according to the inventory. (And WTF, inventory makes the snow effect vanish? O.o)

Another bite! Ooo, Jumbo Largemouth Bass, very nice.

-->OMG coolest desk ever! Yay for all this great new furniture -- I believe Eureka's Emmett will be making good use of it.

-->. . . Why do we have Jack Skellington in your gardening patch?

At least you think he's humorous.

-->Gabe's back, let's make best friends. . . .

OMG Snow! Gabe is amazed. I share your amazement.

Gabe heads off as acclumulation builds.

-->Since my custom foods are currently disabled, let's try some fish.

Oooh, sparkly.

Holy crap, half of that filled up his hunger bar in nothing flat! No wonder he got plump.

-->Let's leave Riverblossom and head over to Strangetown to mess with the weather tuner. Lesse, desert -- Summer, Fall, Spring, Summer.
-->Ooooh, you CAN choose for each subhood! Let's put La Fiesta Tech on the same schedule.
And I'll put an Easter Island head in there too.

So, yes, looking fun so far. Have to reenable my custom content and update what hacks I can tomorrow before playing, of course. Also set weather for my neighborhoods. No bluescreening or anything -- keep your fingers crossed!

Date: 2007-03-04 07:16 am (UTC)Be careful with your hacks and stuff. All the stuff I downloaded made my houses not load, so I just didn't download any stuff. Yet. I'll try 'em one at a time and see what happens, cuz Emmett needs his DeLorean. And Time Travel career. Right now I've stuck him as Inventor in Science, which fits but still. LOL

And now I want to go and play it again myslef, so I should do that. Incidentally all your custom content should work sans hacks. I hope they'll update the Age controller thing soon myself.
Anywho, Yay Sims 2!
