-VD2: I'm sorry, but it's a sad fact of life that free time decreases mightily as you get older. Some extra sleep might do you good, especially since you kept your nine o'clock wake-up time.-
-M2: Double especially since -- you know --
Yeah, all too well. *grumble*
-D: At least you got your drabbles88 idea done.-
That's a plus, yes. I got caught up in reading somebody's legacy story, and being reminded that my own,

eurekasims moves at an almost glacial pace by comparison.
-RPD: No one SAYS you have to play one day at a time.-
Yeah, I know, but that's the way it best fits into my schedule. Even so, I might make a few moves to speed things up a bit. I really should have just started with Emma and Emmett instead of a whole town. Then again, I LIKE Allison. . . .
-OD: *tentacles chatter* So drop the rotation every so often. You don't really update that much about the villagers -- their lives are all letters to the editor and maybe interesting news articles.-
Heh, true. We'll see what happens.

This was an interesting playsession -- I visited Marty and Jennifer in college, and I played them through a season changeover. La Fiesta Tech is set on the same schedule as Strangetown, being desert -- Summer, Fall, Spring, Summer. It was the last day of summer when I popped in on the kids. Remembering that the summer bonus was increased positive interactions with potential friends, I had Marty call up the Weasleys again.

A couple of chats with George later, and Marty was in! Yayz!
-M: Finally! Those Weasley twins are hard to impress, huh?-
Well, they ARE wizard pranksters with a very successful business. . . .

While Marty finished his business with the Weasleys and Jennifer attended class, I noticed some butterflies hanging around the lot. I sent Marty to catch a jar full. He had a little trouble at first --

but eventually managed to catch a few. Aren't they pretty? (<.< >.> Incidentally, this is a big reason I want a Victor Van Dort Sim.)

Jennifer came back too late to catch her own, so she admired Marty's.

Then, being a good little Sim, she set them free. Fly away!

I had them spend most of the afternoon on their cellphones, calling friends they had lost contact with and using the summer boost to get things back up. Jennifer called Mystie and Abijheet, while Marty called Tiffany, David, and Tina.

Fall came as they slept -- see the leaves around her skill bar? (Frankly, fall seems to be the odd one out in Seasons. Winter, Spring, and Summer all provide social interaction boosts. Fall? Skilling.)

Marty and Jennifer continue to paint regularly -- mostly to feed Marty's near-constant want to sell a masterpiece.

However, even if Fall is the odd man out, FALL ROCKS. Marty and Jennifer finished their term papers in no time! And I swear to God, they got bigger boosts than usual. Jennifer's bar was full after finishing hers -- and she'd only gone to one class and done one assignment beforehand! Marty's was full after he went to class that day.

More calling was done this day -- Jennifer chatted up Josie and Gypsy on the weather, while I had Marty call Emmett L. Brown to see if a phone conversation would work better. It did. (If you're wondering what happened in that last pic, it got cloudy.)

Around this time, Jennifer was getting dangerously close to going into the red for Aspiration. I intervene with a lovely, romantic dinner of filet mignon.

-J: *can't resist a squeeful look* Did he pop the question after or during?-
During. You said yes, of course. And you FINALLY rolled some wants to interact with Marty! I swear, all of Sim-Jennifer's want slots were taken up with wanting all her teenage friends to go to college. DAMNED annoying. Must search MATY for something to kill those.

Anyway, now I can have her give a backrub to Marty to keep her in the gold. Yay for being able to use the Thinking Caps!

She was also kind enough to paint a masterpiece for Marty to sell, getting HIS aspiration up. Which meant I could plop a thinking cap on him and have him max out his logic. (LOVE Fall.)

Then, bed and saving, and praying it DOESN'T rain for once -- though I love the visual effect -- like my pic of rainy Eureka?:

thanks to the fact that Marty and Jennifer are pretty poor, most of their dwelling is unroofed. Bleck, puddles everywhere.
-RPD: Yes, that wouldn't be fun. Though I thought you were playing the Clayton-Lloyds?-
Slight change of plans -- I got on late again and thought Marty and Jennifer would be simpler. Next week.
-HD: Unless you track down that Victor Van Dort, right?-
Heh heh. . . .

Anyway, let's see if I can write anything before heading to bed. At least get some editing done.
-D: By which you mean Spider Solitaire.-
Not necessarily. I'm still trying to beat Cave of Despair.
-DW: At least stop with the Rose Potter sporkings, I'm sure they're not helping.-
I know, but such awfulness. . . .
