Docs: *sniffle*
I know, I know. *sniffs* Damn it, that ride is what introduced me to BTTF in the first place! And now it's gone. . . .
-HD: *whimpering over a cup of tea* I never even got to see it in person.-
I know, sweetie, I know.
-D: I suppose there's still California.-
Yeah, but for how long? This sucks. :( I really hope we get some sort of DVD release or something. The clips on YouTube are choppy as hell.
-M: We'll keep our fingers crossed.-
Yeah. . . .
Anyway, today wasn't too bad -- still a little pissy about being called in earlier than usual on a day I wasn't scheduled. That was the big thing -- I was looking so forward to another three day weekend, that when my boss said "come in at noon" -- well, suffice to say, I wasn't too happy. *sigh* But I survived, and now at least I have a couple of days off.
-VD: In which you'll be doing some updating, I hope.-
Yup, I think Chapter 5 of "V.D." is just about ready to go up. Also have to finalize my drabbles88/
backtothefanfic challenge fic.
-DW: And then what?-
Please poke me to do something with the purple journal this weekend is what. I have to get some organization going, especially with the new story idea.
-DW: *headfloor* Stupid titles meme. . . .-
Come on, it'll be funny!
-D: You just love torturing us, that's what it is.-
You let me write this, I'll write you a piece sending Jack to JACK hell.
-D: . . . Your torture is a lot more platable. Bring on the girls!-
*snort*
-VD2: *intrigued* There's a thought -- will you cameo Josie, Mystie, and Gypsy?-
Maybe -- certainly considering it. I'm also considering a casting call of sorts. Remember how I stuck my fellow Doc-Lovers into the J.C. Jones duology?
-OD: *tentacles chatter* Being chased by Ally and Nekuyo -- now THAT'S scary.-
Hehehe. And of course a version of J.C. will probably make an appearance too.
-M: Um -- am I going to get some of this cologne on me at some point?-
Haven't decided yet. I'm still working out the specifics.
-RPD: How is the ambigiously gay Fortune Sim?-
Good. We got some interesting weather this morning -- as I got him to green up, it started raining. And as it continued, I noticed what looked like little specks of ice falling as well. I think I got hail! :D

Didn't last long enough, though. Phooey.
Goldie didn't notice the bad weather, too busy making more pretty flowers. He rolled up wants for the toybench and robotbench this morning -- I think he's a little crafting obsessed.

As daylight came, I had him chow down on some cereal, then call up Christy before work. Summertime's relationship boost meant that he quickly made friends with her. Might as well start making the politcal contacts early!

Goldie got a chance card at work -- doing some paperwork for his controller, he spots some speeches that need grammatical editing. Does he do it on his own or does he run it through the word processing program? I picked does it on his own -- and he took too long doing it. Demoted back to the phones, damn it.

Well, as long as he's home early, might as well start a garden, right? Since he's a tad too poor for an orchard tree, I set him up with two garden plots, a ladybug house, and a composter. Goldie gets right to work composting his old newspapers.

Hey, butterflies! Goldie tries to catch some, with no luck.

Since he needs comfort, I send him to go study some Mechanical skill. Maybe learning new skills will get him repromoted.

Then it's time to call Marissa and use the summer bonus to make friends with her.

The composter finally finishes composting (man, what took you so long?) so Goldie fertilizes and plants his first plot of tomatoes. So far, it's a healthy little sprout.

Joe calls Goldie -- they have a brief chat, since Goldie's social is full from Marissa.

Fireflies! Will Goldie have more luck catching them?

Nope. Ah well, time for bed anyway for this Sim.
-OD: I think he could have bought an orchard tree.-
Yes, but I'm miserly with my Sims. Let's let him get another promotion first.
-RPD: Didn't I see you in Eureka at one point, though?-
Yeah, popped over to Mad Hill Valley to finish up the Cafe 80s. Here's the completed restaurant:

Exterior roof -- went with a blue theme, as you can see here. The diver on the roof was the closest thing I could get to an astronaut -- I ended up going with a space theme for inside. On the lawn are MyShuno games and an Aqueduct of the Future.

Interiors -- more blue, with lots of space-themed decorations and such. I've noticed my Sims complaining they can't sit at a bar despite numerous bar stools, so I've spaced these out a bit more. There's also pinball machines and a radio for fun.

Kitchen -- I love love LOVE the kitchen decorations. It makes it all look so much more -- real!
-TD: Looks like a place I'd go eat.-
Then I'll send Eureka's Emmett there sometime. And by finishing this, I'm finall done designing Eureka's downtown!
-RPD: *applauds*-
Okay, I'm in the mood for wasting time with Stackopolis.
-VD: Just so long as you meet your deadline!-
I still have until tomorrow midnight. It's really just last-minute tweaking anyway.
-TTV: I get added to the muse page then, correct?-
Yeah, yeah, you do. Later all.
