Yeah. Work was a lot quieter today, so I managed to knock out three pages of "Dude Looks Like a Lady" and about a page of "From the Ashes Reborn" (didn't quite get to a page, but I did get to a chapter break). I had quite the gigglefit at one bit -- I won't say for fear of ruining the surprise.
-M2: I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing.-
*smiles mysteriously*
curiousinsane updated too, so that's a good thing. And I found another funny legacy (two, actually, but on the same journal), that I may want to friend in
eurekasims. Laughter IS the best medicine!
-HD: *grins* Whatever helps. I don't like it when you're cranky.-
It's no picnic for me either.
-D: So, perhaps we shall see a resurge in productivity?-
Maybe. Hopefully, anyway.
-DW: The new April challenge is out. That should inspire plotbunnies.-
Yeah -- gave me an idea for another short humor story. *wonders where her long story groove went*
-TD: *points at "Boy Genius"*-
Oh yes. The new "novel" fanfiction would suck up all my long fiction mojo, wouldn't it?
-VD2: He's rapidly approaching the 140 mark, isn't he?-
At a page a day, yeah. Shall we hold a party once he hits 141 or something?
-HD: We should at least have a high tea.-
-TD: With non-giggling scones, please. There's a reason I don't do biological experiments.-
-VD: Those were rather disturbing. . . .-
-HD: *pouts*-
*patpat* Better luck next time.
-RPD: How about Sims updates?-
Here you are:
First up is Ariana Roase of Strangetown. Ariana's doing well, if in green aspiration a lot because of her poorness and the fact she hasn't been able to date Jim yet. Next time I play the Hardnames, remind me to break up Jim and Mystie.
George the kitten is doing all right. He finally deigns to PLAY with that stupid birdie I got him. Kittens and puppies should have fun needs.

Family breakfast!

Ariana praises George for being a good kitty and staying in his bed.

Praising him for going in the litterbox also got him housebroken later.

Ariana loves her kitty! I think he's sweet too, but I'm ready for him to grow up and be a cat. As a kitten, all he does is get on and off his pet pillow.

As it was the last day of summer, Ariana spent some time calling up her lowest-ranked friends and using the summer bonus to speed-boost the relationships. She got Komei up from a barely-there friend to a true-blue friend (58 daily to 100 daily), best-friended Gypsy, and brought things up with Jim a bit.

I also had her skill a bit -- mostly more cleaning and cooking points. She also painted for fun.

Ariana watching boxing before I made her change to the Yummy Channel. She seems really into it. O.o

KITTY WANTS GRILLED CHEESE.

After that bit of nonlinear updating, let's move on to a few pictures of the Carters I couldn't resist taking. They're still dirt poor, but Jack did get a promotion, so things may be looking up.

Plus I send the kids out to make the walkbys buy lemonade (helps that they have wants to sell the stuff). It's a little extra cash.

Samantha catches the butterflies, Arthur sets them free.

Aww, Arthur's one of those kids who runs to hug daddy.

Skillinz. I try to have them paint lots of pictures for the extra moolah. I'm also trying to give the kids some extra skillpoints with the fall bonus. Gotta be well-rounded, even if you don't go to college.
-RPD: Good plan. So I take it this weekend is another Allison, Emmett, Emma update?-
Basically, yeah. Gotta get Allison out with Cyd again and get them hitched. And have Cyd dump those other two dogs.
-OD: Isn't Harriet going to college this weekend too?-
Yup! And the Mortes may do something Easter-y. Looks like I've got my plate full Sim-wise.
Hmmm. I'm in the mood for MST3K. I believe I'll hunt down some "best-of" clips or something.
-VD: Pretend to edit, at least.-
You're assured of at least two edits a day, don't worry. It keeps "V.D." in My Recent Documents.
-VD: Oh. Nice to see some things are assured in life.-
:)
-TTV: Can we watch some Whose Line too?-
Sure -- I'll try to show you the "Indiana Jones" clip if they haven't taken that off YouTube too. *scowls* Stupid WB. . . .
