crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (exhausted)

-D: Another tough day at work?-
I know it would be bad form to knock my boss on the head and tell him one hour before closing is a little late to bring in the shirts, but damn I want to sometimes. Bleck.
-MF: We figured you had a lousy day -- those "Marty does [livejournal.com profile] customers_suck bunnies popped back up.-
-DW: Honestly, that might make a funny humor fic -- or drabbles88, perhaps?-
-HD: *nodnodnod* Along with the TAS outtakes.-
Hmmm. Drabbles88 is good for that sort of thing. Gotta chase off this persistent bunny first, though. *shoos it* Go back to Gigs! She's the one who watches Dr. Who! Damn Uncyclopedia. . . .
-VD2: Did you get any writing progress done?-
Page and a half on "From the Ashes Reborn" -- things didn't get truly hairy until about 4:30, just like last Thursday. I swear, the universe hates me trying to write on that "Tomorrow Came Again" scene. Come on, cosmos, I'm almost finished.
-TD: Then you start the Narbonic/BTTF crossover?-
Yeah, title or no title.
-VD: What's your secondary project? We're guessing "Forward To The Past," but you've surprised us before.-
Not this time -- pretty sure "Forward to the Past" will be the companion project.
-D: In a NonTrilogy mood?-
I suppose. I like your universe. It was the first one I ever wrote, after all.
-M: Hard to tell, with all the changes you've made.-
I know. Though trust me, they're changes for the better.
-M: We read some of your old stuff -- we trust you.-
*playful smack*
Anyway, got a Sims update for y'all:

-RPD: Ah, Agatha and Gil! There's a way to relax.-
Hehehe, yeah. It was summertime when I arrived on their college lot -- I took advantage of the warm weather friends bonus and had Gil and Agatha call some people. Gil friended an acquaintance named Tamara, while Agatha reinforced her friendships with Demi and Debbie.

Agatha also made a plate of hamburgers to satisfy a want -- ended up feeding them for three meals. Yay leftovers!

Science called, as usual -- Agatha studied the stars while Gil made a Cleanbot.

Then bedtime. Agatha got up early to harvest the money trees and took a shot at catching fireflies. No luck, though.

The changeover to fall happened over their hamburger breakfast -- sweet, time to take advantage of the skill bonus.

Gil made a faulty Hydrobot, despite the cool leaves. He repaired it without a problem, though.

Agatha's expertise lies with the toy robots (naturally). Though even one of her creations had to be repaired.

There was also much skill studying -- I got them both up to level six Mechanical to help with the bot building.

Of course, man (nor woman) lives by science alone. There was plenty of snuggling and sweet stuff. :) H.M.S. Sparks Fly forever!

Appropriately enough, we leave this family on a thunderstorm. There was this wicked bolt of lightning that struck the ground on the border between their house and Marty and Jennifer's, but I was too slow to catch it. :(

-RPD: Sounds like a productive day.-
Pretty much so. If I'm lucky, I'll get one of them up to Silver before they have to leave. Then I get to figure out how to design an airship house. . . .
-TD: I'm sure you'll get it. Just make sure not to make it lurid pink.-
LOL, definitely not! I'm thinking a nice blue.
And now, a few questions for my fellow Sim players (or anyone with an opinion):
1. Should Gil become Gil Heterodyne, or should Agatha become Agatha Wulfenbach? Since I plan to marry them, one will have to change his or her name.
2. For Eureka, any ideas on a good house for Emmett Brown once he graduates? Emma's getting a castle, but I want to do something special for my fandom Sim as well.

And now, to hammer out "V.D." chapter 6 for posting this weekend.
-VD: At last.-
-OD: Not so fast -- we know you, you're going to do something else. Jetpack Doc, perhaps? *tentacles chatter*-
Yes, I am addicted -- but I'm probably a bit more likely to go and continue my rereading of the RPG.
-VDM: Doesn't that weird you out, RPD?-
-RPD: . . . I live here. Not to mention I'm a ghost.-
-VDM: *laugh* All right, all right, I know, stupid question.-
Night!

I'd better write something before that bunny annoys you more. *thinks hard for an idea*

I say Gil should propose to Agatha, since females change their names in the real world (you have NO IDEA how fast I went everywhere to get my name changed after I got married lol).

Hehe. :)

Yesss, but Agatha's last name is pretty darn famous in the Girl Genius universe. She's the daughter of two of the greatest heroes of all time. Gil's last name, by contrast, is associated with tyranny and bad things (this despite the fact his dad Klaus does a pretty good job of running things.) It might make more sense for Gil to change his name.

Problem is, is I can write a crossover. No problem with that. It's your idea that's giving me problems.

I see your point.

Hmm, yes. It's pretty weird, isn't it? Well, you don't have to write it exactly like I invisoned it -- remember, I don't know Dr. Who like you do.

Yeah, it's a pickle. Too bad I can't just have them keep their own names. . . .

In that case I'd better get started on a crossover. :p
