-RPD: Still with the RPG?-
Yeah. Good times, good times. . . .
-D: Despite Jennifer Jane McFly's interferences.-
-J: We really gotta start referring to her by a different name, it's weirding me out.-
Well, her first FF.net name was Princess Serenity. . . .
-OD: Wonder if it'll ever start up again?-
I dunno. Aaron's back at BTTF.com, but I haven't seen him at BTTFOnline. Hell, I barely see ANYONE at BTTFOnline anymore. :( I miss staying up far too late to see what's happened.
-VD: You stay up far too late anyway.-
Yeah, but then I had a reason.
Anyway, finally managed to finish that "Tomorrow Came Again" scene while at work. Whew! Narbonic!Marty up next. *chuckles* It's funny -- usually my stories are defined by how Doc goes weird.
-VDM: Yeah, this Narbonic thing will definitely be one of a kind.-
-M: He gonna visit while you write?-
Probably, yeah. He doesn't freak you out too much, does he?
-M2: Nah -- he acts like us most of the time. And we're used to the ranting stuff by now. Little weird to hear it from one of US, yeah, but we can handle it.-
Heh, good.
Anyway, not much to update on, so let's have a Sims update:
-MHG: Oh, if only it were now!-
Tell me about it. Stupid rain.
Then again, Jennifer's house got hail early this morning. . . . My game seems to love precipitation. Jennifer and Robert ignore it for red-hands.

Then comes early-morning skilling -- Robert wants a cleaning point, and Jennifer just needs some more points in general.

Uh, WTF? I don't think the Grim Reaper used that chair recently. . . .
-J2: O.o-
Yeah, that weirded me out. Anyway, he scanned other objects with no weirdness, then after a quick breakfast, headed off to work. Jennifer took advantage of the summer bonus to call up friends. First George, then Doc -- whom she best-friended -- then Ivy.

She also did some painting -- I forgot I gave her the Jennifer/Marty picture to paint. :p

Robert came home with a promotion to lieutenant! Good for him! I send him to skill up and get the logic point he needs for the next level. Jennifer joins, getting an extra body point.

Then it's Robert's turn to hit the phones to up his flagging relationship with Brandi.

Jennifer hits the phone again later that night -- Ricky calls her, and she calls and best-friends Sophie. Productive day!

Robert also proves he wins at life by being one of the few Sims I have who are able to catch fireflies on the first try.

Random note -- I changed out the swing and couch for one of those "benches with a roof" that came with Seasons -- looks a hell of a lot better, and now they won't be obsessed with swinging!

-J: Looks lots better, yeah.-
-VJ: Too bad they don't have actual porch swings.-
Something to look for on ModTheSims2, perhaps? Anyway, after finishing up with them, I popped over to Eureka for a bit to finish my tower house. From the top to the bottom:
Bedroom:

About the same as in the first set of pics -- just added a desk and typewriter.
Bathroom/Workspace/Gym:

Divided this one up to give the sims their privacy! I wanted to use that pullchain toilet somewhere. . . . I also wanted at least one crafting bench and a workout bench, and this room had some free space.
Kitchen/Dining Room:

Oh, so proud of this. I love the kitchen clutter they've given us! Plopped in a juicer and a tea set, just because.
Living Room/Grounds:

Just your basic stuff here -- I resisted putting in a TV at the moment, opting instead for the piano. The yard contains a barbeque area, a telescope, and a fountain in the back. It's a pretty expensive place.
-TD: Not too shabby, though -- I wouldn't mind living there.-
Heh -- your Simself would, it's basically made for a bachelor or childless couple. Don't see any way to add a nursery. Good thing I still have time to figure out your house.
Anyway, off to write/draw/do something before these boys kill me.
-VD2: You were do so well with "What Lies Within. . . ."-
-HD: More drabbles88s! Funny ones this time!-
-VD: What about my chapter 6?-
See?
Yeah. Good times, good times. . . .

Date: 2007-04-28 10:45 pm (UTC)Remember you talking about how much you didn't like slash fanfic--do you ever spork slash fanfics? Like the weeeeeeeeird incest ones?

Date: 2007-04-29 02:10 am (UTC)I don't spork the slash stuff -- mostly because I simply don't have the stomach to read them. The threat of bad sex in any fic, slash or het, is a little too much for me to handle, frankly. The closest I've come is that drabbles88 flash fic that did realistic Amnesiac!Marty/Lorraine, if only because I'd seen the concept a couple of times and was annoyed by it.

Date: 2007-04-30 04:28 am (UTC)Who the heck writes Marty/Lorraine? Seriously?

Date: 2007-05-01 03:19 am (UTC)And yes, I've seen a couple of Marty/Lorriane fics, where an amnesiac Marty hooks up with her. Here's One. (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3366354/1/)

Date: 2007-05-01 04:27 am (UTC)This one and then this one, and I think the rest of *his* stuff is sex. And then this, although honestly I think everything she writes would make a *great* spork (she's just so weird!). And, uh, this, although it's a Marty/Doc {cringes in advance}, so I can understand how it would make your muses particularly uncomfortable.
Oh man, that girl...yeah, I don't see how anyone could think that Marty/Lorraine is a good couple at all! I mean, how could Marty exist in the first place?
