Three Day Weekend -- At Last

And HatterDoc, good news -- Cheshire Crossing recently updated, so I'm getting back into the whole "amazing worlds" mood.

Doing it right after I'm done here. I just want to make a few observations while I'm still mostly coherent:
-->Holidays! Today seems to be a busy day in fandom:
a) Towel Day for the Douglas Adams fans
b) The Glorious 25th of May for the Terry Prachett crowd
c) Jedi Day/30th Anniversary of Star Wars
d) Bob Gale's Birthday!
-TD: *rushes downstairs to grab his clockwork lightsaber*-
-M: Happy birthday, Bob! Thanks for writing us!-
-->I think we hit a new heat record here in RI -- inland, it was 98 degrees today. Even here, where I live (closer to the sea), it was 91. Work was pretty darn miserable, if slow enough to allow me a page and a half on "A Note of Madness." I could have done more, but I noticed I'm starting to run out of notebook.
-VD: That seems to happen quite frequently, huh?-
*shrug* I'm prolific.
