crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (feeling sparky/creative)

[livejournal.com profile] gigs_83's Luke was nice enough to let TeenDoc play with lightsabers, so I figured I ought to finish up that requested DVD commentary. Here's the freshly edited Ich Liebe Dich, and the Ich Liebe Dich DVD Cut. I recommend reading the new "Ich Liebe Dich" first, as I did make some changes to dialogue and stuff like that. Nothing MAJOR, but there's been changes. Next up, [livejournal.com profile] martyfan's request, "Roll of the Dice." That one shouldn't take nearly as long.
-OD: I hope not. What's up for now?-
Hopefully a page on "The Gift and the Curse," some fiddling with "What Lies Within," an update on [livejournal.com profile] eurekasims, and then some BTTF watching to close out my long weekend.
-D: *nodnods* We can get behind that. Which movie?-
Well, May 25th also happened to be the 17 anniversary of Part III, so I figured I'd watch something from that. I'm considering a "Making of" Marathon supplemented with some Part III scenes. I've got snacks.
-VD: We saw the bag of candy in the fridge, yes. Why didn't you just bring it to your room?-
Because my real room is upstairs in our house, and thus consistently a few degrees hotter than the lower levels. Better cold candy than half-melted candy.
-VD: Good point.-
-HD: On the note of the rapidly-increasing temperature, I must get out my summer set of teapots.-
-RPD: You're going to be drinking tea all through summer too?-
-HD: *taking out a yellow teapot with a flowery rim* Yes, of course. But not the tea you're thinking of, surely. Here, feel that.-
-RPD: *goes solid and feels* Ack!-
-M: *obviously unable to resist* What, what, is it hot?-
-RPD: It's cold, damn cold -- oh, ICED tea!-
-HD: *beam*-
-VD2: I believe we'll be joining your tea parties more often in summer -- all of us share a love of iced tea.-
I guess I'll have to watch that bit in Part III then. Anyway, I should get going, got stuff to do -- is TeenDoc back yet?
-DW: Haven't seen him -- then again, Gigs's parties generally bleed over for a day or two.-
-OD: *he and tentacles nodnod* We should know.-
-VD2: And no doubt he and TrilogyMarty are going to need at least a little first aid.-
Luke only mentioned stinging with the training sabers.
-VD2: You REALLY think TeenDoc will be able to resist the urge to fiddle a bit?-
. . . You'd better come back with all your limbs, buster.
-D: Oh, we're sure he won't cut anything off -- we're just thinking minor burns.-
-HD: *cups hand to ear* Can anyone else hear TeenDoc saying, "I'm flattered by the faith you have in me?"-
-VD: No, but I think I hear TrilogyDoc saying, "When did I become a muse?"-
Eh, he sort of is -- him, X-Doc, and NarbonicDoc just don't live here. I'm not gonna quibble. I just want to see what happens. :p

YAY!!!

I love the commentary. It's funny and sweet and...yeah. :p My favorite bit:
It seemed likely he still had it -- Doc was a packrat to the extreme.
Marty55: And that is an understatement.
Doc55: Ha ha ha.

:D I'll start on my own ASAP...but I'll do the anniversary party one first (plus Ed wants me to write something, so I also have him breathing down my neck, too...well, figuratively...I wish it was literally...).

*nodnod* Not a problem. I'm looking forward to all of it. (Here's hoping it becomes literally soon enough. :))

I'm pretty sure that, in the phrase "ich liebe dich," dich isn't capitalized. In the title, yeah. And you can capitalize "ich" when beginning a sentence. But pronouns aren't capitalized in German.

*headdesk* Figures, eh? ;) I'll fiddle with it later.

It's an easy mistake to make, especially if you started out with "ich liebe Sie," since the formal form of you is capitalized. German's kind of weird that way. (Arrgh, and I'm reposting this after waffling about subject/verb agreement and realizing that, no, it was right the first time. If it were "Sie lieben mich," then the verb would be different. Duh.)

A very entertaining commentary! This story is so very touching, and the commentary was as well. ;)
