Every Time I Get Annoyed Today
Jun. 6th, 2007 10:56 pmI just remember that I got to write my page in "A Note of Madness" and thus, got to write 16-year-old Lupin Madblood attempting to convince Doc and Marty that he has lady friends who call him "Wolf."
-TD+VDM: *snort*-
Tomorrow, him admitting the main reason he's at the Symposium is to try and meet Helen Beta Narbon. (Doesn't pan out, of course, but a guy can dream.) Time permitting, of course, but we'll keep our fingers crossed.
-VD: How about other updates? Have you STILL not figured out whether or not you need to reupdate "Roll of the Dice?"-
No, but I blame that on general tiredness. Since I made my backups tonight, I shall dub tomorrow "update day" and try to get some of it out of the way.
-HD: About time.-
-TD: Does that include a "Boy Genius" chapter?-
I think it will. If anyone has any nitpicks or the like, I'll encorporate it in. I'm getting sick of having all these stories on the sidelines and such.
-VD2: I can imagine -- "What Lies Within" is still stalled out.-
I knoooow, I wish it wasn't. I know how I want to end it, but how the hell do I get there?
-HD: Sometimes the quickest path between two things isn't a straight line. Perhaps you should try the reverse method.-
What, write the ending and then see about connecting it to the main story?
-HD: Why not? It'll make for a interesting change of pace. And now that you're finally caught up with all that El Goonish Shive stuff. . . .-
*blushes* I like it!
-TTV: *glares, muttergrumble*-
You won't be doing that for long.
-TTV: Who says I won't?-
Well, your birthday is coming up, if I remember correctly. Yours and Marty's. I can't expect you to be a grumpy gus then.
-TTV: I suppose not. . .except that I think my parents and in-laws are coming. They -- want to -- meet you all.-
Oh, really? Great! I can't wait to see their faces. . . .
-TTV: *wince* I admit that this will probably be amusing for all of YOU, but I do have to deal with them occasionally!-
-DW: *pats Victor's back* It'll be all right. We'll make sure we're on our best behavior.-
-OD: If you want, we'll try and hide some of the more -- unusual --
-TTV: *shakes head* No, I'd hate for you to go to all THAT trouble. I've explained you're all different, of course. It just remains to see how much they've believed me.-
-RPD: Well, we'll make an effort to downplay it a bit -- I'll go solid, for example.-
-M: Buck up, Victor, we'll all be visiting the Inkwell later for some real fun.-
-TTV: I know, I know. Just -- is it wrong that I'd rather avoid the whole mess and take Victoria down to a trip to the Land of the Dead?-
-All: No.-
We've seen the movie, sweetheart. I'd rather visit the Land of the Dead any day.
-TTV: *weak smile* Well, I do have my duties upstairs, as it were. Just try not to throw anyone through any windows.-
-OD: *tentacles do their best to salute* Can do.-
-D: In the meantime, do you have any idea if you're going to do a story for this month's
backtothefanfic challenge, Victoria?-
I think so, it's just a matter of what to do. People own all sorts of neat stuff in BTTF. I was thinking the Harold Lloyd clock, actually, in the Lone Pine universe.
-D: *laugh* That would make an interesting story.-
-TD: Go for it, we could use more PreTime/1955.-
All right, just need the appropriate plot. First though, a
revison_doc update, and something to drink.
-VD2: And bed by about 12, remember?-
Yeah, I do. Stupid 7 A.M. wake-up.
-M2: You could set your clock later.-
I know, but I hate to give up any computer time. :(
-DW: We just don't want you to fall asleep at the keyboard.-
*rolls eyes* No worries on that -- why is it when I'm ready to go to sleep that I feel the most awake?
