Spent most of the day cleaning my room at my mother's behest. I rearranged my bookshelves a bit to display my BTTF collection to better advantage. I think soon I might go through my shelves and start taking out all the books I don't read/will never read. I need book space -- especially since I've got a craving for some new ones.

I'm thinking of getting the core new World of Darkness sourcebook too. You know, the ones with just plain humans. I might collect the whole set of New WoD cores. Got Werewolf: The Foresaken already.
-TD: Why should we get behind this obsession?-

Well, there is the main comic to think about. Which is still updating mysteriously early at times. *eyes TeenDoc*
-TD: *whistles*-
I'll go in and change the dates tomorrow at least.
-HD: I don't see why you have to go all angsty on us with Changeling.-
If it makes you feel better, it's not just you. Victor's involved too.
-TTV: o.O?! I was not informed of this!-
-VM: *confused* Victor? What's Victor have to do--
*ahem* There is a Seeming called Darklings, which are basically changelings who cling to shadows and darkness, and whose worlds in Faerie consisted of fear. Standard appearance is unnaturally thin and tall. Skin can be pasty white, eyes dark and disturbing. There's also a Kith -- subcategory, if you will -- of Gravewights, who consort with the dead.
-VM: . . . . Holy crap, talk about nailing him.-
-TTV: -.- I am not a changeling!-
Neither is Richard, yet he gets a mention.
-VD: I think I see why you want to get this book. It's describing people you already know and like.-
-VD2: *cheekily* And let's face it -- dead people do like you, Victor.-
-TTV: *grumbling* Maybe I can borrow a mallet from someone else. . . .-
Aaanyway, there is an update -- Emmett's all settled in eurekasims. No Gold badge, though. :( And only 374 simoleons left to his name after furnishing his house.
-RPD: *sharp intake of breath* Ouch. I hope he gets a job quickly.-
Yeah, good thing he isn't constrained by my Mad Scientist Legacy rules. Though I could conceivably have him hold out and make robots and toys -- he's up to silver in both of those.

Or until he finally finds a girlfriend. Tempted to make one by this point, honestly.
Anyway, gotta get up early tomorrow, so I'll take my leave here. Maybe I can ask Mom to take me up to Borders, or at least to the Waldenbooks up here, to see about the sourcebooks.
-RPD: I find it amusing you have yet to play any RPGs besides the BTTF Online one.-
Considering I killed off my own character in that. . . .

Promethean is a pretty awesome game, but it's also depressing as hell for the characters.

. . . And this is different from any other World of Darkness game how? :p My head would still be full of Girl Genius thoughts though. (Wonder what stats Punch, Judy, and Klaus would have. . . .)

Have you ever seen "Corpse Bride?" It's a good movie -- I've grown to like Tim Burton's stuff. And yeah, Victor is dead-on for a Darkling -- here's a page with pictures of Victor:

Touche. Most WoD games are pretty equally bright points and dark points--vampires live forever and can pass as humans, werewolves have glorious battles and can pass as humans, changelings can...sort of pass if their Seemings are strong enough. Prometheans de facto cannot pass as human because their very presence freaks humans out and basically despoils the land after a while. Angst factor = upped x100.

Yeah, went to see Corpse Bride when it first came out. I like Burton's earlier stuff a lot better, though. Beetlejuice is still one of my favorite movies.
