Thanksgiving Update

crossover_chickThe girls cooked up a fantastic feast for the muse crew. Boys were banished from the kitchen the instant the girls got wind of yesterday's escapades.
-DW: I'd protest, but I'm too full.-
-MF: I don't think we'll be eating for the rest of the weekend.-
-HD: *singing off-key* Food, food, glorious food. . . .-
-VD: It's not true that all of us were banished. Victor was allowed in.-
Temporarily. How does someone as skinny as you get his hand stuck inside a turkey?
-TTV: These things just happen when I'm around.-
At least we got you free easily. As for real life, we had a boiled dinner -- cabbage, potatoes, ham, and carrots. I wasn't particularly wild about it, but it was all right. And we had cake and ice cream later, so that was good. :D
Didn't get a whole lot done on the NaNo, but it is a holiday, so I guess I can take a little time off. I did get about a thousand, at least:
And as mentioned in my previous entry, I put the chapters that are done up for public viewing.
And now, I gotta start preparing for bed -- early shift tomorrow. :( At least I have the weekend right after it.
-RPD: Any chance of doing something with the drivers this time?-
Maybe. If I can get over my fear of tampering with the computer. That failed backup scared me worse than I thought.
-RPD: Hmm, true.-
We'll see what happens. Right now, I have some last-minute webbrowsing to do.
