Happy Birthday, Moose!

crossover_chickI managed to finish it, despite my lassitude (I really hate what my period does to me):
Marty stared. “What the – no way. This can’t be how it all starts.”
“How all what starts?” Doc asked, coming up behind him. He and Marty were visiting the mall, looking around for a birthday gift for Jennifer.
Marty pointed at the sports store. “Doc, what does that look like to you?”
Doc looked. Prominently displayed in the front window was what appeared to be a very high-tech snowboard, with propulsion jets on the bottom. The sign above it read, “OsCorp Industries Presents – The SkyStick!” “Huh. That’s interesting. I always wondered where the design came from,” Doc said, examining the board with interest.
“Isn’t OsCorp industries owned by the Osborn family?” Marty demanded, shaking his head. “You know, the guys who all went crazy from that super serum stuff?”
“It was only two people, Marty. And Harry Osborn reformed, remember? He saved Spider-Man’s life!” Doc frowned at the SkyStick. “In fact, I think he was riding on a version of this very glider. I wonder what prompted him to market it.”
“Don’t ask me, I don’t know the guy.” Marty frowned. “I hate to admit this, but it does look pretty cool. I just – it feels weird, knowing my favorite invention from the future is invented by the son of a supervillain.”
Doc patted his back with a chuckle. “Well, it’s a long way from this to your beloved pink Mattel hoverboard.”
“Do you always have to mention I preferred the kiddy toy to the one you tried to get me?”
“I just like seeing you twitch every time I do,” Doc teased. “Don’t worry about the SkyStick. Better invented by OsCorp than never invented at all, right?”
“I suppose.” Marty turned away from the window. “Come on, let’s see what’s in that perfume shop over there.”
-D: *snort*-
-M: *annoyed look*-
:p Yup, a Spider-Man/BTTF crossover! I was thinking about that picture of MiniMate Harry telling Marty that his SkyStick is not a glorified hoverboard -- and then, I wondered, "Hey, wait a minute. What if it's the PRECURSOR?" This came to me five seconds later. It's kind of AU in that it implies Harry survives the movie (sorry Moose!).
-VM: That pink Mattel crack makes me glad I can fly under my own power.-
-VuM: Ditto.-
-M2: There's nothing wrong with our hoverboard.-
I'm not saying there is, I think it's cute myself.
-M2: *rolls eyes*-
That wasn't a crack, honest!
Anyway, hope you like Moose!
Now to give buying the Minimates another crack.
