Ahhhh. *pause* Um, where exactly with Maxim?
-TD: I'm not sure, they left quickly. But she promised no rampages through town.-
-VDM: Yeah, we'll see how long that holds up.-
*roll eyes* Ye Gods, I hope I don't have to pick up after them too much.
-TD: *grin* We're used to it.-
Anyway, watched Part I this morning, which was nice. Ahh, sweet sweet BTTFy goodness. I needed that.
-D: Hopefully it helped with fanfiction.-

Well, it might have it work hadn't been hell.

Another case of disappearing coworker combined with fifteen tons of clothes and lots of customers. Honestly, it was one of those days that kinda leaves you dead on your feet. *sadface* I managed a half-hour break to get a half-page done on "There's Always Tomorrow." Sorry OckDoc.
-OD: *tentacles hug* It's all right. Your job DOES have to come first.-
Yeah, I know. Just -- bleck.
-D: *suspicious* Your coworkers seem to vanish rather frequently. . . .-
Tis annoying, yes. At least one usually has a good excuse -- the afternoon lateness girl generally doesn't. *sigh* Ah well, three day weekend now. I fully intend to sleep in quite a bit. Also, more movie watching. I've got a hankering for some "Enchanted." Might watch more BTTF in special features, at least.

Well, I'm almost done with "From the Ashes Reborn." Just gotta conquer some ending fatigue. I'm open to suggestions.

Somebody's having a barbeque tomorrow in Twin Oaks Park. I'm thinking April, though I'll have to move Dave and Linda into lots first. Cripes, I forgot about them!

I know, I know, I'm a bad Simmer. As for the Rift -- well, J.D.'s got an open thread, maybe I'll poke him? And it appears I may have later threading with Aubrey. Seriously, Rift!Doc, how on earth did you glom onto xem so fast?
-HD: Aubrey's fun! Xe's naturally backwards and sideways and all that!-
What, because of the technically-no-gender thing?
-E: I thought it was obvious. Aubrey's his new Marty.-
It's a bit more than that. I think Doc just likes "adopting" younger friends in general.
-D: Well, I don't really find that many friends in my own age group.-

-VD2: Yes, but in your case, you're actually Marty's age.-
Aaanyway, yeah, busy weekend ahead. I'm looking forward to it.

Well, he's chatting with Aubrey, maybe they can get something to happen. Or maybe they'll just commiserate over Doc (or Aubrey gives Farley hell over talking about sex with the Skid). Either way, it'll be interesting.
As for the whole thing with Doc, maybe he'll unconsciously contact him in the future (assuming we have no further explosions).

I'm sure they'll meet again. But yes, we must beware of plotsplosion.
Should I mention that I might have a way for Farley to get some money? If he's got 1927 money, he could sell it to a collector. Should be worth SOMETHING. I got the idea thinking about Victor and whatever cash he might be carrying should he stumble through the Rift.
