-RPD: *basks in the roleplaying*-
-D: You really have switched positions, haven't you? From being the muse with almost nothing to do to being the muse who gets stuff near-daily.-
-RPD: I know! I love the Rift.-
Hehehe. I'm rather fond of it myself. Doc's still chatting with Aubrey (talk has drifted to figuring out how to get in touch with Maya, the Orientation Officer) and a little with Farley (though that's heading for wrap-up). I've also jazzed up his profile. Yay tables? It's a rather bastardized version of the code
superiorspectre uses -- I just had to move the headlines over, they didn't look right being on the other side. And I had to match the colors to his journal.
-VD: It looks fine, Victoria.-
Tanku.
In other news, I was smart today and brought "Equal Rites" to work. Got three hours to read on it, not counting interruptions from customers. Yay for being smart.
-DW: You did seem calmer coming home today.-
Pratchett's a good writer. I'm looking forward to what happens to Esk. Of course, stopping by Friendly's for a Chocolate Brownie Cookie Crunch shake helped too. Seriously, if you guys can, try that flavor. It's delicious.
-HD: It certainly sounds like it.-
It is!
I also watched, through
metaquotes, the Master doing his evil musical review acts. You know, "Here Come the Drums" and "I Can't Decide Whether You Should Live or Die."
. . .
I'm sorry, but the sheer audacity of that makes him awesome.
-VD2: *astonished* What?!-
-OD: Is this from the same girl who's got this terrible crush on Ten?-
I know! But damn it, how many evil overlords are willing to be that goofy on their private ships? Plus, he can dance.
-OD: *facepalm* You're crazy.-
I'm well aware of that, thanks.
Aanyway, not much else to report besides progress on "Corpse Mask." Up to Chapter 3.
-TTV: Awkward morning?-
And how. But it's all part of the fun.
-TD: *looks curiously at Victor* Wonder what would happen if you lived in my world or Narbonic and went Mad?-
-TTV: I think I'd be one of those Sparks who ends up killed by the intial breakthrough.-
Aw, come on. You already have experience in reanimating the dead.
-TTV: -.- They really needed no help in that regard.-
-TD: I always pictured you a bit like Narbonic!Marty -- sound Spark.-
-TTV: *thoughtful* Don't think I'd mind that.-
*wonders if she can sneak in a cameo when she types up that story*

Date: 2008-07-15 12:51 pm (UTC)Probably for the best though. Don't want anything too bad happening to Ten.

Baby baby baby...you are my voodoo child! My voodoo child!
John Simm's Master is one of my favorites (not THE favorite, but one of). ^^

Date: 2008-07-15 12:52 pm (UTC)Yeah, he seems pretty awesome. Evil, but awesome. He really should have gone into musical theater, not world domination.

Date: 2008-07-15 04:40 am (UTC)Except now the Farleys are begging me to write something involving Alex...
PTMS-Farley (formerly Rift-Farley): Obviously! What's the use of giving us an uncle if you're not going to write about him?
Other Farleys: Yeah!
So Doc's the father/uncle (of sorts), Farley's the younger brother/nephew (even though chronologically he should actually be older than Doc), Aubrey's the Marty/sibling figure, and Gladys is the older sister to Doc... What's that make Revan?
PTMS-Farley: You know, I've never thought about that before... (sparking) He's older than me, but chronologically I should be older than him... (glomps your Doc in throes of sparkage) Son!!!

Date: 2008-07-15 01:00 pm (UTC)*tries to figure out what PTMS stands for and fails* It doesn't help that I keep thinking of -- certain times of the month. . . . *blush*
Hmmmm. I'm not sure, really. She has to fit in somewhere. *thinks* Maybe another, younger sister/cousin type, the smart one of the family. (She IS a very well-trained Jedi Master.)
Rift!Doc: *is glomped* Hey! *pause* Though, honestly, you might still be better than my actual father. At least you're scientifically inclined.
TeenDoc: *snork* This is like when I did that to Gig's version of Doctor Ten. I guess you're getting my revenge.
Rift!Doc: *glare*
TeenDoc: O.O *meep*

Date: 2008-07-17 03:39 am (UTC)I like PTMB too. :D "Madboy" should really enter regular vocabulary, in my opinion.
