I have collected a bunch of Victorian/steampunkish things for my Sims. I feel better.
-RPD: Planning on playing more?-
Maybe. In Eureka, anyway. That's what most of this stuff is for. Victorian dresses, steampunk recolors. . . .
-TD: Sounds fun!-
Indeed! Though I've noticed a distinct lack in stuff for guys. *pouts* Come on, they deserve awesome clothing too.
-D: What exactly have you gotten?-
Steampunkish recolors for the Little Sister computer and the photoboth, Queen Victoria's wedding gown and related items, an antique phone, and some Nautilus lamps.
-D: O.O What, like -- Jules Verne?-
Yup.
-TD: Those are going in some Sim version of us's house.-
LOL, that they are.
In other news,
clockwork_doc is slowly catching up on recent events. JD's mun Rizzy hasn't seen BTTF in ages, so we handwaved that and I went straight for Doc's "OMG my canon self is married" reaction.
-HD: Does he require tea?-
-RPD: He might after hearing the explosion and learning Revan's disappeared.-
-HD: *hurriedly starts making a fresh batch*-
Just thank God he hasn't met Suzie yet. Imagine finding out all the stuff you try to repress looks just like the man who tortured you for years. Nothing against Suz, of course, she's not coming off well either, poor dear.
-VD2: You be gentle with him. He seems to be a bit more -- emotionally fragile than most of us. And speaking as someone who was stuck in an asylum for a while, I should know.-
I'll try. But breakage happens. He's got the Fanclub, anyway. They'll keep him sane.
-OD: I hope so. God knows what an insane weather controller could do.-
I'm thinking massive tornado damage. For a start.
Aanyway, fanfiction is going all right. Got three pages on "There's Always Tomorrow" this week, along with plenty of typing on "Corpse Mask."
-TTV: *grin*-
I also have a new short Drabbles88 that I'll probably post tomorrow. Stars the Multifandom Motley of my Changeling!Verse.
-VD: What about editing?-
Yeah, got some done with that in the middle of the week on "The Gift and the Curse" (cable outage, go figure), but -- need to play catch up this weekend.
-D: I thought you were going out?-
We'll see how I feel tomorrow. Also what the weather will be like. Rain and trips don't mix.
Off to download a bit more stuff. Later!
