Apparently even more explody-type shit is going to go down in the Rift. Natasha's unhappy thread of unhappiness hints at this, you see. Though Rift activity is good, and I'm enjoying reading through the threads -- I have NO IDEA how to catch Doc up. I'm tempted to just invisiRift him to make things simple, and dump him out once everything's settled.
-RPD: Bit of a cheat, don't you think?-
Yeah, it is, but -- I'm WAY behind.
Anyway, not much else happening. Fanfic continues in the usual manner, though getting the page on "There's Always Tomorrow" was an excercise in frustration today. *hate*
-OD: *tentacles hug* At least you got it. That's the important thing.-
Aw, tanku. I also have drabbles88 fic for you:

36. Fixed
“All right! It appears that we will actually be taking this road trip. Man, this is gonna be fun. I haven’t been out of Hill Valley in a few years.”
“Same here. I never got a chance to see the country properly when I came over from England. Came straight to California.”
“Yeah, it’s been ages for me too. Us, you mean! All right, all right, us.”
“Hey, Doc and I were born here. I think we got you all beat.” Marty leaned back and put his feet on the table. “So what’s the plan, Allysin?”
“Well, we still need to work out some of the particulars, but I think I’ve got a good game plan of cities we should see. New Orleans, Las Vegas, Miami, Chicago--”
“Not Chicago.”
Everyone turned to look at Doc. Allysin raised an eyebrow. “Huh?”
Doc looked around the group, looking faintly puzzled himself. “I – I really don’t want to go to Chicago.”
“What’s so awful about Chicago?” Victor asked, one hand automatically reaching for his tie.
“I don’t know,” Doc admitted. “I have no idea why I feel this way. I just very strongly do not want to go to Chicago. The very idea gives me the chills.”
Marty began to look worried. “Doc, have you been messing with the Contracts of Time or whatever they’re called? Did you see something in the future?”
“No, I would have told you before if that had happened.”
Fred cocked his head. “Just a gut feeling then?” Doc nodded. “Hmmm. From my own experience, gut feelings tend to be very accurate. Unless zhey are very bad stomach cramps. Oh, come on, do you have to bring that up?”
Allysin looked at Doc, frowning. “You really don’t want to go to Chicago?”
“I really don’t,” Doc confirmed.
“All right, we’ll skip Chicago.” Allysin crossed it off the list. “Plenty of other places to go see.”
Doc smiled and nodded, relaxing. He still had no idea why his entire being was so opposed to Chicago. But he couldn’t help feeling like he’d just dodged a bullet.

-RPM: Yeah, Doc. Avoid Chicago AT ALL COSTS.-
-VD: Poking fun at ourselves a bit, are we?-
*giggle* I couldn't resist. More Multifandom Motley goodness from my Changeling!verse. I just thought it would be funny if Changeling!Doc was somehow getting bad vibes from Rift!Doc.
-VD2: I wonder what would happen if they ever actually met.-
Rift!Doc would be jealous, I'm sure. I mean, he has friends in the Rift that he likes, but -- well, there's something to be said for staying in your home universe with your best friend.
-HD: And not having to deal with giant rabbits.-
-WRM: *hurt look*-
-HD: Ah, um, er --
-WRM: *laugh* I know what you meant, Doc.-
-HD: -.-;-
Anyway, yes, just some silliness from sometime in the Motley's future. The "bad stomach cramps" line from Napoleon is from the game, incidentally. He cites it as the reason he lost Waterloo. (And warns Fred they're hereditary.)
-D: Feeling into Psychonauts lately?-
*nodnod* Yeah. I really should get the game.
-M: Probably a good idea, yeah.-

So, yeah, that's that then. Not much else to say. My life is boring.
This, however, isn't. Japanese BTTF slot machine that never lets you win. Ignore the hosts, they're extremely annoying. I actually like the character models in the animated segments. Marty actually looks appropriately teenagery, instead of 11 or 12 like he does in the Pachinko game.
-MF: And suddenly, the reason you want to do a BTTF vid to "Turning Japanese" becomes a lot clearer.-
Japan has ALL the best BTTF stuff.
Okay, I ought to do something productive before I have to go to bed. Later.

One of AL's guys is in Chicago. Gary Hobson (from Early Edition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_Edition)...*sigh* I miss that show...it's on DVD but I can't afford it atm...). Though what she had to go through to meet him...yeah, best not to drop by. At least, not without escort. :p

And considering he's also the guy who gets the news a day early and thus is kinda compelled to go and stop disasters. . . . *nodnod*

*pause* Can we bring HIM into the Rift? He sounds useful.

Well, wouldn't you? (Though I'd play the lottery first...)

Now that'd be interesting.
