Why IS My Brain On the Corpse Bride Channel?

Clockwork caught TieTwisterVictor’s arm as they approached the Inkwell Bar. “Before we go in, I just wanted to let you know – we did a little decorating last night.”
“Oh?” TTVictor asked, frowning at him.
“Yes. And one of the things we added was mistletoe.”
“Oooh.” TTVictor blushed. “I see. Beware of random Victorias?”
“Probably. Just so you know.” They headed inside.
“Hi Victor!” two voices promptly chorused, giggling.
“. . .Okay, beware random Victorias and Emilys. Together.”
“Oh God. All right, how much did our author bribe you two?”
“Bribe?”

I hope it's obvious that the Victoria under the mistletoe there is Victoria Everglott and not me.
-TTV: *dirty look* You're a bad influence on them.-
I prefer to think of myself as an AWESOME influence.
-M: What happened, anyway?-
-RPD: Apparently they both just kissed him on the cheek.-
-TTV: *blush, pull at tie* They -- they were under mistletoe. . . .-
God, you three are almost as sickeningly cute as Rift!Victor and Alice.
-TTV: Oh hush.-

Seriously, this obsession? Weirdness.
-HD: I don't know. Reminds me of the "Alice In Wonderland" bout that brought me into being.-
Hmmm. Point. But even that had cross -- wait, I can't say that. I haven't found a way to properly cross over the two movies, but Doc and Marty cameo in "Corpse Mask," and Victor cameos in "Cinder-Marty."
-TTV: *surprised* I do?-
Yeah, I thought it would be neat. Alice is there too. You're not mentioned by name, but the descriptions should make it obvious. Plus there's all the Muse stuff, and the Rift. . . . My headcanon is ruined.
-D: What do you mean by that?-
I can't unpicture you lot as friends now. A small part of me occasionally wonders "where's Victor" when I see BTTF stuff. *headdesk*
-VD2: *laugh* Oh. Congrats, kid, you're definitely one of us now.-
Why'd you lot have to adopt him anyway?
-VD: Someone has to. You've seen his parents, right?-
-TTV: They're not THAT bad.-
-TD: Maybe, but what about your potential in-laws?-
-DW: Makes you wonder what Emily's parents were like.-
I actually touch upon that in "Bonds of Holy Matrimony," so let's save that discussion for later.
Anyway, not much going on at the moment, though ClockworkGrinch has had a chance to unload on people in the Rift (meeting Babel, who is a bundle of neat and silly and puzzling) and the Nexus (thread with guy named Cole who let people unload on him for the moment). Maybe now he can stop being so cranky and hormon--

Speaking of Christmas Spirit, anybody up for the wishlist meme?

Step One
Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part: If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf—to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not—it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. To get to Florida without anything major going wrong. There will always be minor problems, but as long as we all make it down there in one piece. . . .
2. I'd still like a matching Marty for Clockwork in the Rift. Failing that, though, someone please give the courage to ask if museicalmarty would be acceptable in rift_overflow, at least.
3. Art! I actually like it when people are willing to draw for me, since I kinda lack the skills. Illustrated scenes from fanfics, random shit with Doc and Marty. . . And, naturally, this year I'd like "Corpse Bride" stuff too. Starring Victor, of course. Either canon with Emily and/or Victoria, or Rift!Victor and Alice.
4. Fanfic. Doesn't have to be long, just a little drabble, but still.
5. More of you to watch "Corpse Bride." Humor me, folks. Victor's adorable. It'll only cost you about an hour and a half of your life.
6. This is related to the fanfic thing, but whereas four was fanfic in general, I'd --
I can't believe I'm going to admit this. *deep breath* Here goes.
I like hypno-fic. That is, I've got a -- thing -- for people getting hypnotized. (Not necessarily that kind of "thing," but --)
Anyway, yeah. If someone would write something about Doc -- or Victor -- going under. . . doesn't have to be dirty or anything like that, can be silly, just. . . .


Okay, I don't actually have anything else and that little confession above was a bit embarrassing, so let's stop right here.

Anyway. I have stuffs to do. Fic to write, all that.
