“Goose or turkey?”
Jennifer blinked at the sudden Clockwork by her side. “Uh, what?” she said.
“I’m taking a poll on what the cooks are going to make for Christmas dinner,” Clockwork explained, holding up his pad. “I heard some of you were interested in goose last Christmas, so I figured I ought to ask. So, any preference?”
Jennifer thought. “Put me down for goose – I’m curious,” she said. Clockwork noted her choice. “Those the only two choices, then?”
“I did have fish. The Victors threatened violence.”
“Ooh.”

-TTV: I'm sorry, but I've eaten enough fish for two lifetimes.-
*patpats* I'm not fond of it either, Victor. Give me some turkey or chicken anyday.
-TD: What's the results of the poll?-
-Clockwork: Actually, it looks like we're having goose.-
-HD: Delicious!-
-WRM: So long as Mrs. Plum doesn't get her hands on it.-
-Clockwork: We'll be watching her like hawks, don't worry.-

In other news, Marty and Victor are in the Overflow! Yes, I decided to be weird and do a double post during Riftpower Roulette. I'm glad I did, honestly -- I like writing both Marty's "Oh jeez" annoyed response and Victor's "I'm supposed to get married!" spazziness.
-RPD: No word on whether Victor's been accepted for actual Rifting?-
Not really -- there WAS a note by the mods that their internet access has been iffy. So that would explain it. I can wait, especially since the move means I won't have internet access for a least a couple of days. *nibbles nails*
-VD: Better get in your playtime while you can, then.-
I know. Also gotta update some stuff. Don't let me forget to do that tomorrow.
-VD2: Of course not. Better to have as much complete as possible than not.-
I know. Other than that, things have been pretty much good. My parents leave tomorrow for a four-day trip to look for houses, so I'll have the place all to myself for a while. Not that I plan to do much, honestly, besides start packing and watch movies. *pause* You know what I should pick up? Popcorn.

Hey, I like popcorn! And popcorn goes well with movies.
Speaking of movies, I seem to have misplace my MST3K episode "The Touch of Satan" (damn it, that has the Chris Lloyd ep of "Spin City" on it too), so I'm gonna go watch it on YouTube. Hooray for the Digital Archive Project!
