“So, do you think we’re going to have a good Christmas this year?”
“Well, we’ve done just about all we can do.”
“I suppose so.” Doc leaned back. “Just have to let the season itself take care of the rest.”
RiftVictor chuckled. “Makes me wonder what we’re going to do for her birthday.”
Doc froze. “Great Scott, her birthday! I almost forgot! Damn, I was so focused on Christmas--”
“Well, I’m sure you have plenty of time. When is it?”
“The 27th. Two days after Christmas.”
“. . .Oh. Oh dear.”

-HD: Lies. We did not forget your birthday.-
Yeah, but it's funnier to pretend you did. :p
-TD: So, does that end the Eighty-Eight Advent? I don't think Christmas Day is included. . . .-
Sort of. There will be a minific for tomorrow, but as it's Christmas, it'll be 121 words instead of 88.

Today was -- honestly, really nothing special. Work was work and now I'm home and looking forward to Christmas. Though I did get to open one of my presents early. Mom and Dad got me a handheld blender. :D
-D: *amused* A bit of a odd gift.-
But a good one! You guys know how I like to make shakes for dessert, especially in summer. This is a lot easier than doing things with a spoon. And the big blenders keep breaking on us and crap. This little one's much nicer. Made a very nice shake for me tonight.
-VD: Well, good. As long as you're happy.-

Worked on "Cinder-Marty" some more. The shoe has been left. I changed the way Marty lost it a bit, actually.
-VD2: Oh?-
Yeah. Instead of just tripping, he crashes into someone.
-TTV: . . . You didn't.-

Speaking of Victors, Rift!Victor is finally in the Rift proper! Looking like he's being picked up by Shepard, so he's probably gonna end up at the Gauche.
-RPD: Too bad, in a way. Much harder for Gladys to get a hold off him.-
Well, considering the younger RiftOverflow version seems on a mission to get him hammered. . . . *too amused*
-DW: *shakehead* Oh Gladys.-
That's just how she is and we wouldn't love her half as much if she wasn't like that. Still, it's probably a good thing Victor will be a Gauchian. Tests the waters for Alice and makes it easier to get them together. Speaking of which, had the mad urge to create her journal early.
-RPD: *amused* Ael's a bad influence on you.-
Ha ha. Nah, I was looking at fanart and started thinking about icons. Discovered it's -- kind of hard to find any American McGee ones. I'm looking for screenshotty stuff from the trailer and the game. Hmmm. Well, I have time, she's not coming in for a while yet.
Anyway, I haven't got much more to say. I think I'll poke around the net a bit more, see what's shaking. Merry Christmas Eve (and Third Day of Hannukkah for the Jewish people on my flist).
