Happy Valentine's Day!
Feb. 14th, 2009 10:32 pmThe muses and RPG characters are spending time with significant others -- except for Clockwork and Museical, who lack girlfriends and are instead watching "Shrek" at the Inkwell with Dee. To each their own. Me, I'm enjoying the quiet and feeling pretty darn good. The trip to the mall went off pretty well -- I had fun scouring my favorite shops and hitting Dave and Busters. Though there were some issues with the bus. I got to the first stop and was worried I'd missed it. Nope, it was ten minutes late. Then, when I left the mall, I had to run across Kennedy Plaza to catch my outbound bus because the traffic held me up. But I made it both times, and that's the important thing. So, the spoils of the day!
-->Lewis Black's book Nothing's Sacred (I loved him on "The Daily Show" and in his stand-up on Comedy Central -- hopefully that translates to print)
-->The Darwin Awards Next Evolution: Chlorinating the Gene Pool (Yup, BOOK FIVE. And I doubt she'll ever run out of material)
-->Back To The Future 2-Disc Special Edition (scored this at Newberry's, though it took me three tries to find it)
-->Patty Melt with fries at Johnny Rocket's for lunch (Melt was good, fries were a bit blah)
-->20 bucks to recharge my Dave and Buster's card (played a whole bunch of games, and actually managed first place on a Mario Kart simulator as Luigi on a train XD)
-->Addicted to Chocolate shake from Ben & Jerry's (I took one sip, and there were FUCKING ANGELS SINGING.)
Oh, and additionally, my parents were nice enough to get me something for Valentine's -- a box of Smore's chocolate candy, and -- Liar Liar on DVD! :D Ah, I (and Victor) love me some Jim Carrey.
Watched the BTTF DVD once I got home -- great stuff, really. :D I liked the new documentary a lot, and it was REALLY good to see the Ride once again. I missed it bunches. *hugs Doc*
Now, I ought to go catch up with the Rift. But first, some pictures. I actually took more than this, but I'll post those tomorrow. First, the one up at DevART:
A Corpse Bride Valentine
And now the full-body shot I was tempted to use, but didn't -- the background was better on the headshot:

Aren't they cute? XD
Anyway, hope you all had a good day, see you all later!
