If I think Norman Bates is cute, does that make me perverse?

I worry about these things! I don't understand why I think he's cute. Jennifer, do you think Anthony Perkins is cute?
-J: No, but if you think he's cute, fine. Just as long as you don't like his "Psycho"-ness.-
That's the problem with liking psychopaths when you're squeamish. I've watched only a small number of horror movies, mostly the "Classic 30s Universal" variety. Yet I love to read about them. Is that odd?

Actually, in all honesty, I thought Anthony Perkins was pretty cute when I saw Psycho for the first time.

One of my friends from back in the day (high school) had the hots for Anthony Perkins. Even if he was gay, she didn't care. "Psycho" was one of her fave movies, and I recall I bought her the special book about it from Universal Florida when I was there in 1994, as her b-day gift.

BTW, it's my opinion/theory that what we fear also fascinates us. Maybe that's the explenation for your killer-likings?

No, he was gay and I'm assuming out near the end of his life, if not after his death. I've never followed his career, but I knew this fact for some odd reason. When you get older, you realize all the nice attractive men out there end up being married or gay. Sucks to be single in your mid-twenties, oh yes.
