crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (feeling sparky/creative)
[personal profile] crossover_chick
Doc and Dan are chatting again and just got through a very awkward patch in the conversation (had to do with Doc's internals), Victor's asking the Nexus for help with his ghost problem -- only he seems to think it is such, Metody's shown up at the Inkwell and is still talking with Marty in the Nexus, and Alice -- is playing Guitar Hero. What, Johanna was playing it before!
-RPD: Nice to see you getting back on the wagon again.-
Yeah, dry spell with that seems to be over. Also still working on "Train Troubles," but I should be able to wrap up the first draft soon.

I keep meaning to do a little music meme thingy for fun -- songs that remind me of my favorite couples. I've run into some roadblocks, though -- I don't really have any songs for any of my Doc/OC couples, nor for Victoria/Victor/Emily. (Though I do have one for Victoria/Emily, strangely enough.) And the Victor/Alice playlist? Have I mentioned they try to claim EVERY romantic song I listen to?!
-D: Maybe it would help if you listed all the couples you want to do?-
Hmmm, maybe. I'll have to do that tomorrow. In the meantime, check this out -- Etiquette Hell has etiquette manuals from back in the late 19th/early 20th century. I'm currently reading through this one, as it's from 1875 and thus the most relevant to my own Victorians. There's a lot of emphasis on cards and the like. I'm most intrigued by the section on courtship, though.
-TTV: *facepalm* I'm warning Rift!Victor and Alice of any plans you may have.-
Go ahead. I have no objections to them preparing themselves.
-TTV: . . . Fine, you won't mind me telling them about that s-s- dream story you wrote either.-
DON'T YOU DARE!
-TTV: *flee!*-
*chase!*
-TD: I'm so glad I don't have to go through this with Clara.-
-VDM: Shh! Don't give her ideas! I don't want to have to go through it with Jennifer!-
