Picture Heavy Again
Aug. 3rd, 2009 10:02 pmSince cleaning my room meant it was also time to rearrange all my figures:

General shelves picture -- you can see I've moved some stuff around. My BTTF novels are now on the top shelf, giving my BTTF minimates more space.

On the Marvel/T2-mates shelf, I've set up some fresh scenarios. Here Gwen and Harry are having a loving moment while Spidey looks on, a bit confused. "Wasn't she MY girlfriend in one of the canons?"

Next to them, Doc Ock prepares to scale the tower of books and get at his old nemesis, Webpack Spidey! WP having a broken leg will not get him any mercy.

One slot over, Venom and Colossus prepare to duke it out! I'm honestly not sure who would win in that match-up. Hmmm. (Has Venom ever fought an X-Man?)

And then, beside them, BlackSuitSpidey and Storm are shooting the breeze. And attempting to ignore AngstyBlackSuitSpidey writhing behind them. Most of the fun of that Marvelmate comes from finding out what tortured position you can put him in this week. XD

The T-2mates are now on this shelf as well, enacting a climatic scene. BattleWornT-800 is desperately trying to crawl forward and retrieve his gun, while BattleWornT-1000 --
Okay, he's SUPPOSED to be dragging him away, but I can see how you could get a DIFFERENT idea of what he's doing. *facepalm*

Down on the BTTFmates shelf, things are busy. First, the Kubricks -- Marty and Biff are in a fight, with Doc and Jennifer desperately trying to pull Marty off before things get out of hand. Einstein is ignoring the silly humans and stealing Marty's skateboard for a joyride. XD

Over in 2015, PartIIMarty is hoverboarding away, obstinately from Griff and his gang, while OldBiff and PartIIDoc wonders what the hell is going on with him.

PartINoVestMarty gets a sweet deal this go-round -- just sitting down with his skateboard, enjoying a quiet moment for once.

Over here, we have PartI55Doc and PartIVestMarty having a small argument. It's based off the scene where they're arguing about Marty being late to the clock tower at the climax of Part I. I really should have stolen the other car to make it look better. Maybe I should get some new toy DeLoreans.

1955Lorraine: "Oh, Marty! You're so manly!"
1955Marty: "Thanks, but I have a restraining order. You have to keep fifty feet away from me at all times."

Over to the side, Buford and PartIIIMarty are having another argument. PartIIIDoc has decided "screw this" and is going to find Clara.

Moving some of the mates out of the way, we see easily the most involved scene on the shelf -- a rough recreation of the Biff punched out moment in Parts I and II. Dance55George and Dance55Lorraine are walking away together, Dance55Marty is rushing off to tell the Starlighters they have to do another dance, and PartIIDisguiseMarty is looting the almanac off an unconscious Dance55Biff. Just pretend the DeLorean is Doc's 1955 car, okay?

And over on this side, we have a very rough recreation of the roof scene from Part II. PartIIBiff is threatening PartIIMarty, who is peering over his shoulder in hopes of seeing a DeLorean. You know, now that I have more space for everybody, I could probably use some more props. . . .
That's it for the minimates -- let's move on to the Corpse Bride figures:

As you can see here, I finally got around to taking my Corpse Bride minifigures out of the box. This shelf is looking noticably fuller these days.

The figures themselves -- we start with little Wedding Victoria, then follow with Scraps and the Wiener Dog. Doing what dogs do. Maybe I shouldn't have put them next to Victoria.

Then there's Paul the Head Waiter and a bunch of spirits (er, joke not intended), and behind him Elder Guknecht with a few of his books and a raven.

And finally a zombie gentleman who has no name enjoying a night stroll. Of course, now I want to give him a name -- I might call him Fred. Personable enough chap, right? Except for the whole "being dead" thing.

Of course, the normal-sized figures are up to their usual tricks. It appears Emily and Victoria have decided to confuse the boys by switching their symbols -- Emily's got Victoria's flowers, while Victoria's holding Scraps. Victor is quite puzzled, while Bonejangles tries to be cool.
Whew, that was a lot of pictures. I tried to lower the picture size again on my camera, but I'm not sure if it actually took or if it just lowered the quality a bit. I might go back to that widescreen size I used with the initial T-2mate pictures.
