That Meme Going Around
Aug. 8th, 2009 10:51 pmAsk me my fannish Top Five [Whatevers]. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! I will answer them all in a new post.
In other news, the family and I watched Bolt today. And it was good -- very funny and very sweet. And the beginning, with puppy!Bolt and his squeaky carrot, is too adorable for words!
-TD: I wonder if anyone's mistaken it for a Pixar release?-
I'm sure some people have. Though, actually, according to what I read on TV Tropes, one of the Pixar regulars, John Lasseter, had to step in and tweak the film because it was apparently unwatchable. It was originally called "American Dog" and had a far different plotline -- Bolt was a real spy, Mittens had an eyepatch and was called Ogo -- all sorts of strange stuff.
-M: Weird.-
-D: Reminds me of how you told us all about the last-minute changes on "Men In Black."-
*snork* I think it's more like the story behind "The Emperor's New Groove," myself (which started life as a far more serious and traditional Disney musical with a different title).
Not much else to report -- Twitter's still being a pain in the ass, though I found a lead on that -- apparently they're having issues with Firefox 3.5 or something. Joy. [/sarcasm]
-RPD: You really ought to play someone. Everybody's getting bored.-
-VD2: You need to write, too. Even if it's just more on the one-sentence couples.-
I know, I know. I'm planning to work a little more on "The Tale's" outline, that acceptable?
-VD2: Better than nothing, yes.-
Good. I'll get right on that.
