Apparently This Was Movie Weekend

crossover_chickWe saw the new Harry Potter on Friday, I watched Enchanted and we all watched Bolt on Saturday, and I watched Corpse Bride and we all watched MST3K's "Future War" today. I'm quite the vidiot.
-VD: *sniggering* I'd forgotten just how bad that last one was.-
I know! I need to watch more of my old MST3Ks. Maybe next weekend I'll watch that awful rendition of Hamlet, just for shits and giggles.
-TD: We're up for it.-
-VD2: How's the writing going?-
Actually got a bit more done on "When Worlds Collide" -- working my way to the end of the next chapter. You may all faint in shock now.
-HD: I'll put down some pillows first.-
-RPD: How about some RP? Or even some Sims, I'll take that.-
You know, I WAS planning on fussing around with a Sims version of Victor and Alice's house in Wonderland, but I ran into two problems --
1) Scale. I'd planned it out as a one-story building, but I think that it would be a bit too huge that way. Which is ironic, as I thought of it as one-story because it's supposed to be way smaller than Victor's house. Which, judging by William's comments in the Everglot's place, is HUGE.
-TTV: It wouldn't matter if the cottage was three stories, it would STILL be smaller than my old house, I'm sure.-
*giggle* Yeah, that's probably a good point, however, my second problem?
2) When I went to quit the game after fussing around with the blueprint tiles and not getting anywhere -- something happened. I'm not sure what, as my screen got stuck in that brief all-black stage it goes through when normally closing out the game. But I heard the error message noise, so. . .
-RPD: *facepalm*-
Yeah. I know I don't really play it anymore, but I do still like to build my houses.
-D: Seriously thinking of getting a new computer this time?-
Yeah. We'll see how it all works out.
On the plus side, though, Twitter and Spymaster are working again, so I have one of my usual ways of wasting time back. :D
-OD: *deadpan* Oh joy.-
Relax, I was rereading your story earlier -- you might get the next one typed up yet. :p
-DW: If you ever finish any of your current projects.-
Like I said, nearing a chapter completion in "When Worlds Collide." And it's the chapter that takes everyone to Wonderland, so I can finally start writing all the truly weird WTF stuff I've been waiting for.
-DW: Wonderful! Productivity would be nice.-
-HD: And the more nonsense, the better!-
-M2: *pause* Hey, wait -- isn't the next chapter the one WE'RE in?-
*Cheshire Cat Grin*
-Muses: *unnerved*-
Relax, it won't be that bad.

One year ago yesterday (8/8/08) you gave ClockworkDoc the deed to the Inkwell Bar. I'm writing a story where AL gives him a surprise party (you and everyone forgot but AL's Gary remembered) for the anniversary. I'd hoped to finish it tonight but that doesn't look like it's happening since I still have to shower and try to get a decent night's sleep. Tomorrow, though, definitely.
