It Was Acceptable In The 80s

Hmmm. . . Today's quote I shall take from the dinner scene of great exposition:
Lorraine: Your father kissed me for the very first time on that dance floor. . . . It was then that I realized -- that I was going to spend the rest of my life with him.
George: *cracks up laughing at The Honeymooners in the geekiest way possible* Oh -- oh no --
Marty+Linda: *eye first George, then Lorraine with "we see how well that turned out" looks*
-M: Can't really complain, though. Like she said -- sorta -- if they didn't meet up, none of us would have been born. I know from personal experience.-
Trufax. And I kinda like George's laugh, it's amusing.
Not much else to say about today. Wrapped up another thread on Doc's mega-Nexus birthday post, working out the plans for Dee's Inkwell party tomorrow. Also gotta find time to watch BTTF II either tomorrow or Tuesday for the BTTF days. It's always a bit annoying when they don't fall on a weekend.
-D: Yes, because it's such a great trial to get to watch one of your favorite movies of all time.-
*snort* Yeah, yeah, true. Maybe it'll kickstart my writing urge a bit.
-DW: One can only hope.-
-VD2: We're particularly looking forward to NaNoWriMo this year. A whole month where you have to write.-
Yeah -- good thing I'm pretty eager to start "The Tale." Whether I FINISH it this year is another story. Though I'm really hoping it doesn't become another "When Worlds Collide." *needs to wrap that thing up*
-VD: Just try not to go crazy trying to lengthen the chapters for wordcount. I think that's what tripped you up with that one.-
That might be kind of hard, considering "The Tale" is probably an even more epic crossover than "When Worlds Collide." I mean, WWC-RC is a lot of my different BTTF universes all mashed together, granted. But "The Tale" is ALL MY FAVORITE FANDOMS mashed together -- along with a bunch of FREAKING FAIRY TALES! OMG this thing is going to eat my computer!!
-HD: You're not the White Queen! You're not allowed to have a panic attack before the event even starts!-
-RPD: Breathe, Victoria. There's still a week to go. Focus on Halloween first.-
Right, right. *deep breaths* I'm good. Sort of.
-OD: *tentacles poke* Oh, go get some sleep. You look a little loopy.-
That's my period's fault, not mine.
Should mention that I put up "By The Riverside" on my website properly, and on FF.net. We'll see if anyone comments, considering it went in the crossover section.
-TD: I think you should get at least one review.-
Fingers crossed, anyway.
