A Great Day In The History Of Science
Nov. 5th, 2009 10:04 pmYour quote for the day is:
Doc: I've had enough practical jokes for one evening! Good night, Future Boy! *slams garage door in Marty's face*
Marty: No, wait, Doc, the bruise, the bruise on your head! I know how that happened, you told me the whole story! You were standing on your toilet and you were hanging a clock and you fell and you hit your head on the sink! And that's when you came up with the idea for the flux capacitor, which -- is what makes time travel possible.
Doc: *opens door and STARES*
I love the face he makes at the end of that.
-D: Well, how would you react to hearing something like that?-
Much the same, I bet. I hope someone gets a picture of my face if it ever happens. I bet we'd laugh ourselves silly over it.
Anyway, today is also Gypsy Robinson's birthday, so happy birthday Gypsy. Shouldn't you be out with her, Doc?
-D: Leaving right now -- just wanted to see what you were picking for the quote.-
All right then, shoo! As for the other piece of information I'm sure you're all waiting for, my NaNo wordcount is:
11395 / 50000 words. 23% done!
-VD2: This is amazing!-
Well, it helps that I'm in the Exposition Chapter of Doom. I'll start putting up bits that the rest of you can read over the weekend.
-TD: Just out of curiosity, do you think this one's going to be finished in 50,000 words?-
I -- really don't think so. ^^; Mostly because I'm only on Chapter 3 right now. I think I'll be able to introduce everybody and probably do at least Puss in Boots in 50,000, but after that. . . . Why on earth do my NaNo projects GROW like this?
-VD: We have no idea. Just try not to let this one get out of hand like WWC.-
I'll invest in some tight rope.

Date: 2009-11-06 06:12 pm (UTC)Anyway, I'm looking forwards to reading what you upload. Good luck. By the way, could you perhaps post the names of the chapters? I mean, you gave the information about which chapter you were busy with when working on WWCRC last year, so I knew what to expect (a little) then. If you could do something like that now, too, it would be greatly appreciated.
But don't let my requests keep you off the work. Good luck with your story!
